How do we feel about this? Don’t know squat about this kid. Is this the type of LB additions we need or is this a glorified Alderman situation?
 
NC State got decimated by the portal. Maybe Bailey sees the light and enters the portal to learn for a year under Beck and competes with Nickel

He and Ny Carr are pretty close so wondering if his return is related to this

Both Colquitt County kids - Bonner is a year older.

Late bloomer that was a big safety, made a late move to LB in HS, and came to NCST around 190 and has built up to 215-220. Fits what we've heard Hetherman wants - running 11 second 100m in HS as a junior. Long and rangy and hits hard.
 
looks a little light...he wasn't supposed to start, but an injury caused him to start...was 5th leading tackler, and had 7 TFLs. Primarily a Mike Backer.

Best portal LB right now is the UNC kid but he is short and stocky. This kid isn't as fast as the BYU lb. I guess there are three legit options.

A RS Freshmen LB? Is that a sign that there are some young LBs in the room that our DC isnt really excited about? Wouldnt that be recruiting over a few kids we already have in the room? Thought we were going for more a seasoned guy.
 
I think he fits what we are lacking at Mike LB. Former safety, long, rangy, fast, striker.

We already have some of bigger, early down guys who are better in the box (pause) like Hayes and Popo.
