LSU is an unknown and are showing up too late to this recruitment to win imo. He said he was thinking of taking a mid-week visit to FSU before locking in a LSU OV.

Hetherman has been recruiting him for a while and he is good friends with Asharri Charles, Deanthony Lafayatte, and both of the Picketts.

I was taking it from the standpoint that if we have the choice of going big for a DT or OL or a WR..history shows we do it. Who is our highest paid LB? Probably Wiley I would guess. Hey I’m just lowering my expectations is all I’m saying. I would hope to be wrong.
 
Watched this guys film, seems like they have him playing on the edge/in a pass rush role ALOT. Maybe Miami wants to put more money into a more traditional LB. That said, Jit flies around and hits **** on film...

But that's not cause we haven't OFFERED LBs bags up there with the rest of them. We simply weren't the choice. The reason for that is because we haven't shown up until now that we're a legit destination for lbers to thrive. Now it's simply a timing thing. While heatherman is here(assuming two more seasons)kids know it's a good spot. Past that it's more of the prove it nonsense

Also, backer seems to be a very difficult position to project.

I’m pretty confident in our chances for another shot at the title, then any SEC team.
