This should be a recruitment we win.

We literally just beat the rest of his top 5. 3 of these schools directly; then, beat Kiffin’s most recent school in Ole Miss.

LSU is an unknown and are showing up too late to this recruitment to win imo. He said he was thinking of taking a mid-week visit to FSU before locking in a LSU OV.

Hetherman has been recruiting him for a while and he is good friends with Asharri Charles, Deanthony Lafayatte, and both of the Picketts.

Of course it doesn’t always play out logically; however, personnel is policy so to speak. These networks and direct comparisons matter.

Darrion Owens helped us get Shaq Quarterman who helped us get Jalen Rivers and Chantz Williams. Pringle and Wiley helped us get Waters. Mykah Newton and our HS recruiting efforts positioned us to get Jarquez Carter in the portal. Easier for Canon to sign with us instead of Clemson when we have Booker on our roster. And so forth

He will play with the best fronts here and go against the best in practice, I would choose us but you know sometimes these obvious points dont win out. **** we got guys we had no business getting at times but they still picked us. Hope he picks the bad guys and stays home

It's the norm for teams who were incapable of roster retention and high school recruiting. Those places you'll continue to see that & it's fine. But as you're seeing with us now that's becoming much less the norm positionally because we've built our depth. That's not to say we won't take transfers as well. But our priority is building in house.

If y'all think recruits simply go to the highest bidder normally and that's the most important factor y'all are trippin. But I'm used to it at this point. Brother when you speak on these high ranking recruits, normally speaking EVERYONE is the highest bidder and nil wise there's not a lot of differences. Those kids pay more attention to track records then the average middle of the pack kid does. Like us with offensive lineman or edges or portal qbs. I know y'all are being told how we just open up the wallet and go shopping. It's not accurate. Do we short people, no not at all. But there's definitely more money out there for most of these dudes then us. For us we want a blueprint observed here.
 
LB might be the single position over the last decade we have been the absolute worst at recruiting. Diaz was truly ******* horrible for Lb…

I do really like Wiley, Pruitt, and the recruits from 26 class. But until they prove it on the field it must be considered by far our worst recruited (AND DEVELOPED) position this decade. Only position that is even close is Center specifically tbh. But that we hit portal for quite successfully. I don’t think we’ve been as successful at LB out of HS or Portal. It’s been mediocre at best imo.

Wiley better have a large role this yr

Anyways as for Henderson, I consider LB a lower value position that we should NOT dedicate serious NIL towards to constantly get top top recruits… BUT one stud 5 star every 3 yrs imo SHOULD be the plan.

Exactly. These highly rated kids would be stupid not to look at the best fit for THEM. They already are going to make tens of millions in the NFL, an extra 200k in college isn’t going to sway them. They flat out looking for best opportunity to develop as a player to succeed at next level
