I am with you. Dmoney and Pete were acting a while back like this was a slam dunk to get MM and I was here saying it wasn't going to be that way. Things changed big time after he came to spring practice and saw what we do on a daily basis. I'll leave it at that.
And yeah, in talking with ppl around the STA program about MM, I was getting the same vibe about him being "not a great locker-room fit" for Miami but I didn't want to say that on here while we were still pursuing him. He is talented and is not a bad kid, but he is not a day one starter but was looking for day 1 starting money and needs some maturing to do that the other guys in his position group at Miami don't needs to do.

I always said we would have a better chance in landing Matthew’s if he was from somewhere else. These wishy washy soflo kids sellout quick. And you get the vibe early if they are with us or going to the highest bidder elsewhere. They don’t hide it one bit. But some people are oblivious to the signs. He never felt like a Cane.

Exactly, I said the kids overrated and 2-3 years away from being able to contribute and people mocked me because they see the 5 star rating instead of the frame and tape that he has

Does this apply to our coaches who, by all indications, recruited the **** out of this kid for multiple years? And will continue to push for him until he is signed to the Aggies?

After the antics and aftermath of that commitment announcement, I’m a no on even accepting his commitment if he changes his mind, and would prefer his allocation of major resources to be put to use elsewhere. But questioning one's seriousness for the game if they were teammates? wow...

I really like Omarii Sanders who is committed to Vandy. He's be slightly cheaper and so I'd try to flip him instead of bigging against A&M for Henderson personally.

But Also I'd just push for Roman Igwebuike who is uncommitted from Chicago. I mean there is also still Toa Satele, Noah Glover, and Isaac McNeil...

Defensively top expenses we need to spend on are EDGE, DT, and then Safety. 2nd LB is like 5th in the pecking order there defensively...

It wasn't about the kid being wishy-washy with his loyalty. The kid was all Miami before he saw what it meant to be at Miami.

The kid made the right move going to TAMU because the kid would have hit the portal in January. Again, not due to lack of loyalty or going to the highest bidder but due to the physicality, violence and mania that is a Miami practice.

We have JJ from 26 already looking like a star and Jones in this class who is a stud. Backer is important

There's plenty of names we are still in on without bringing up kids that either haven't been mentioned on this board or haven't been mentioned for months.

Glover and Henderson at top of board imo
Mayfield, D.Williams right behind them.

Then they hybrids
Whiteside, Tomlin, Proctor.

Probably only taking 1 more with an outside chance of 2.
