Kaaya's Record....

What he did as a freshman was amazing. Won the job fresh out of high school with no spring ball and was one of the top passers in the ACC immediately.

He had talent around him but guys like Walford and Dorsett really emerged with him throwing the passes.

he didnt WIN the job. Golden put in a freshman to have a built in excuse. the whole team wanted ryan williams.

Since when does the team pick? Just because they wanted Williams doesn't mean Kaaya didn't win the job.

****, the team wanted clappy...doesn't mean anyone should have listened to them.

Mongo himself went on WQAM and stated exactly what nycane said.

He said that Gorlden kept Kaaya in the whole season to have an excuse for losing. Everyone involved in the program saw the level that RW was playing at the time and were shocked that Gorlden fvcked RW like that.

RW was completing like 80% of his passes in spring ball that year. Kid was dialed in to win.

That's complete BS. He was sticking up for his roommate and friend. Ryan Williams wouldn't have added one win. He couldn't even keep the job at Memphis. As much as Golden sucked, nobody is keeping their best QB on the bench because QB's save coaches jobs.

When I think Of Kaaya's record I think of

22-16 record as a starter
19-16 record vs FBS
12-15 record vs P5 schools

Since he's the only one on the team, those are indeed his stats.

C'mon everyone knows QBs are judged on W-L record. How many people have brought up Dorsey went 38-2 as a starter. Or Steve Walsh was 23-1 as a starter. Gino Torretta was 25-2. If you put on good personal stats as a QB and lose a bunch of games you gonna be called a stat combiler or a system QB. Look at all those West Coast QBs that put up monster stats in the PAC-10 and WAC in 80/90s no one calling them great QBs. Right now Brad Kaaya is the equilavent of a Eric Zier (UGA) or Alex Van Pelt (pitt) these are guys who were 4 year starters and put up great CAREER numbers while losing a bunch of games. Also remember Kaaya never even been all ACC. He been a middle of a road ACC QB most people would rate him 4-6 in the confernce as a starter but his CAREER not single year stats look guardy cause he started so many games.

So now kuntycaneface is a better/more trusted source than a former player?

lmfao at the retards around here

You're right. His roommate and best friend isn't a biased source at all. What's my source? The rest of Ryan Williams **** career. He couldn't keep the starting job at Memphis. But that doesn't mean much to you because you worship a coach that couldn't get an interview at Memphis

As somebody who's name starts with "K", I'm hoping to come out of this without a new ****-based nickname. Having said that, I think that RWs body of work should speak for itself. It doesn't look to me like he was likely to be any better than Kaaya that year, and **** knows if al had played him the story would have been all about how al was afraid to play the freshman even though he was superior. I have no love for al, but god help me I think he made the right call on this one. But even if he didn't, how can you imagine that RW would have had a great year? There's nothing in his past or present to indicate he would have been better that Kaaya. Worst case, al gave his future QB some early experience.

If I've offended, might I suggest "Kuntonite"?

RW was completing over 80% of his passes in spring ball all the way through. Sideshow Bard has never completed 80% of anything even in 7v7.

Guess I can't argue with that.

So, spring ball stats are the end all be all now? Guess that Brad Kaaya having a higher completion percentage in REAL GAMES, against REAL COMPETITION doesn't matter. Williams' best year at Memphis, he completed 56.9% of his passes. Brad Kaaya's worst season was 58.5% AS A TRUE FRESHMAN. LMFAO at anyone thinking that Ryan was anything but a career backup that provided depth.

80% completion percentage in spring ball against a D'onofrio defense. RW was clearly headed for the Heisman before he got screwed by Golden.

That tactic you are unwittingly using is called Reductio ad absurdum.

It's what morans resort to when they are getting the pants beat off of them in a discussion.

Haha the best you have is a quote from the bestfriend of a QB who has done nothing and couldn't keep a starting job at Memphis

I have a former player going on nationally available media telling you the truth. But, because the truth doesn't fit your agenda you are somehow trying to say that you....some dumb fvck that lives in dumbfvckistan somehow know more than Mongo?

You are a doucher of the highest magnitude.

When you say former player, you're talking about the bestfriend/roommate of Ryan Williams right? Great source. Hey, Ryan lost the starting job at Memphis and Jake Heaps is having a better NFL career

Also humorous, when we needed a guy t I do mop up duty during a win Jake Heaps came in the game NOT Ryan Williams. That means he wasn't even second string
