The bashing of Kaaya is really silly. Without going into all that much of why he is excellent, 1 thing that should be very obvious to anyone watching the games: Kaaya looks downfield and throws downfield, and almost all of his balls are thrown very very well. He attacks down field all the time. He gets a little nervous with his feet, and he throws off his back foot some, but he'll fix those things. He doesn't look straight to his outlet in the flat. It takes a lot of guts to do what he's doing as much as he's doing it, particularly with this O line. Oh, and have you seen him run the offense like a boss?

Kaaya = stud. Period. End of Story.

I think with the play calling and complete lack of a running game at times, the young man is a really good quarterback.

And I think it's pretty petty to criticize Kaaya when we have much bigger problems with Golden, D'Onofrio, and Pinga.

First things first.

Before you crown a quarterback who has only beaten 5 legitimate teams in 14 attempts with NFL talent surrounding him on offense, I think he has a lot more to improve on and prove.

Put Kaaya on LSU, Alabama or any top 10 program and everyone would know his name, the kid is playing under the worst coaching staff in the ACC. He kept UM in the game last Sat by himself.

Yeah Kaaya's the problem with this team. WTF. Kid just threw for over 400 yds and 3 tds while getting hit a ton and all anyone wants to do is complain about the balls getting batted down. That's on the OL because they're not continuing to stay engaged with the DL.

All truth, but most of those games that you're counting, dude was a TRUE Freshman! U have to consider who his OC and HC, is also. I'm not ready to call him "Great" yet. Not even really good, yet. With Kayaa, I need to see more. The kid is on his way. I like what I saw vs, F$U, for the most part.

At this point he's a good quarterback that could grow into a great one. Sometimes it's hard to remember he's only a true sophomore. He has things to work on, better ball location and throwing on the move to name a few. Give him a coordinator that knows how to get the ball in the talents hands (kinda like that Dorsey guy did) and he will flourish.

Well if you think it's KAAYA bashing you're entitled to your opinion but just stating the facts. Certainly he has been handcuffed by Golden and Coley as their ineptitude is glaring. With that being said, the kid does throw errant passes, he is slow footed, his arm strength is medicocre, and at least for this year his completion ratio on bombs make TANNEYHILL look like the greatest. The fact of the matter in his short career he has shown an incredible propensity NOT to deliver in the clutch. I really don't care about passing yardages because UM throws the ball all over the place so if he doesn't have 400 yards per game then something is wrong. Give me victories and if I was the new coach next year I would certainly OPEN the QB competition. He is a nice kid, very loyal, has some upside BUT please don't tell me he is the answer to our many woes. For all the many positives you cannot teach speed, maneuverability, arm strength, etc. Don't know what happened but his long ball percentage and accuracy for the ENTIRE season so far has been in the toilet bowl. Did you NOT see Stacy Coley OPEN in the first quarter and he missed him for a TD with a badly thrown long ball. GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE that doesn't matter at all! That's a common occurence THIS year my friends. The kid is fine but certainly needs lots of improvement! His NOT a stud or an elite QB.

He gets hit a lot. So what? That's Fraulden's problem. That makes Fraulden responsible for Kaaya's stats. The stats are just plain facts. His winning percentage isn't even going to be "winning" after this season. Kaaya gets plenty of yardage between the 20s. In the red zone, not so much. On clutch 3rd downs, not so much. He's just OK. With real coaches, he could have been much better.

Hilarious...everybody except for a select few Miami fans consider Kaaya to be a bonafide stud. Predicted to be a top 5 draft pick with some mocks predicting number 1 overall. Threw for almost 400 with 3 tds and no picks vs FSU in Tally. Measurables comparable to NFL greats. Only half way through his sophmore season. He can not win by himself. This is not basketball.C'mon Man! Hilarious...

**** when u put it that way... you maybe right. Still give him the benefit of the doubt... i just wish he could get accurate on his deep balls... i keep saying this.

On Saturday he hurt Coley by not leading him instead like all his deep balls receivers have to stop mid stride, locate the ball and attack it. Instead of being led to an open space in stride catching the ball...

if he does that he'd have 400+ additional yards and 6+ td to add to his resume.

Bro he didn't say Kayaa is the problem everyone knows he's not the problem. At the same time he should be held to a higher standard because of what he's capable of. We just want him to be the killer general on the field that he should be. Not mediocre like that fat guy with the tie.

What's wrong with that?

Got to think if you ask any coach, "will you take your QB going 400 yrd, 3tds, 0 picks in rival opponent's home on national TV night game against last year playoff team, one year removed for NC." Is there a coach who says, "nope, I got a kid who is going to better" Hey, is Kaaya Tom Brady yet? Nope -- but he is a **** of lot closer to probably best QB ever, than Al Golden is any NFL HC and 70% of the college HCs. Let's remember that our great QBs staring with Kelly down to Ken, all played for NFL HC coach - future or past. Al High School Golden will have to buy tickets to get into NFL games for the rest of his life. This kid took a serious beating and had brought team back to lead late in 4th quarter. Defense does it job and Brad Kaaya get his big win that Al has denied him for two years. Kid had last year's game won too.

You know, Bernie claimed he had enough time to get field goal if Cornhuskers made the 2 point conversion. I believe him, but what if he needed to and failed? Would Bernie Kosar have lost the game? Or would it have been the defense?

Don't forget that Kayaa is getting hot on almost every pass. All of these hits are big hits

GTFO with the Kaaya bashing. He is literally the least of our problems.
