Kaaya ranked as a top 10 junior for 2016

He has every chance to be a top 5 pick next year. I'd love for him to play 4 years at Miami, but you can't pass on the chance to go that high.

Kaaya has the opportunity to compete for a National Title if he comes back for 2017 imho. I hope he stays for his senior year but you can't blame him if he goes.

Also, I can't believe they left Dalvin off this list

Based on the type of kid he is, he seems like a guy that if we have a great season to where next year is a chance for a NC, I think hed come back

How many come from behind wins does Kaaya have? I'm not sure if it's his fault or the old Staph, but I don't ever recall Kaaya playing with a sense of urgency... Was it Coley or Golden's idea that they didn't have a 2 minute offense for Kaaya to run? Then again. just looking back at the boxscores of all the games last year, the team played with no sense of urgency in the 2nd half of games, they were totally FLAT...
Here's a list of all the close games and the 2nd half performance...

Nebraska - it was 20-3 going into the half, Miami scored a FG early in the 4th quarter while Nebraska made their comeback, then Miami scored another FG in OT to win... BLEW a 33 Point Lead
Cincinnati - Cincy led 27-20 going into the half and all we scored was a FG in the 4th quarter
FSU - Miami trailed 20-10 going into the half, Miami scored a TD in the 3rd & 4th quarter to take the lead, but FSU scored on their next possession, and Miami couldn't do anything in their last drives
Duke - that's one for the history books
Virginia - never relinquished the lead, but it got close at one point
Pittsburgh - Miami led the whole time but all we scored was 2 FG's in the 2nd half

Same pattern throughout the year we scored in the 1st half but after halftime we were flat!!!

I've got to believe this had more to do with the old Staph then with Kaaya

Left him and Christian McCaffrey off the list ... Likely because they wanted an OL and DT on there.

I also find it interesting that Sam Hubbard is on the list. That kid played safety for Moeller (Cincinnati) High school, and has grown into a college DE at Ohio State. That's elite level athleticism on the DL, IMO.

that vanilla offense wasn't really set up to comeback from a pair of touchdowns , maybe richt can speed up the tempo .

Rosier played against Duke but the results were similar. Consistent offense in the first half, sputtering conservative garbage in the second half. So I wouldn't pin the lack of 2nd half comebacks on Kaaya. ****, if not for Kaaya, they get blown out in every one of those games (besides Duke, obviously).

If youre a top5 pick you shouldnt even think about staying....caneshades or not.

Well in Kaaya's situation, he had NO coaching his first 2 years and was just playing off of raw talent. In one spring with CMR, his footwork, accuracy and football knowledge are already improving. If I was him, I would come back for my senior year just to keep learning and gaining experience. If he's a top 5 pick, he'll most likely go to a sorry *** team with no QB coach and be thrown into the fire day 1. Thats what kills QB's and their confidence in the league.

24 million can give you alot of confidence and also buy the best QB gurus in the nation. Way more risk to stay than reward. You drop out of the top15 in the draft and youre contract is signigicantly worth less meaning the team that drafted you is much less invested in you in general. Top5 guarantees teams are going to do everything possible to help you succeed as long as youre not an idiot like jamrcus russel. Just look at sam bradford.....teams are still trying to extract better play from him after his horrendous rookie contract.
