Kaaya is 9 - 9 as a Starter and...

He just threw for almost 400 against a top defense that was able to drop 8 into coverage and still get past his OLine. Yet we still have fans questioning him.

I gotta agree I was really impressed.

Still lacks that defining drive in a big game, which unfortunately, fsu Saturday was his last chance at that for the remainder of the year.

I don't care about winning the coastal or having hope to or whatever the case may be. A Golden lead team as history has clearly shown, will not play for anything meaningful. For all the players sake, for the fans sake...

Alls we're askin for is a chance

We're lucky to have Kaaya...as a matter of fact Kaaya is the only reason we don't already have THREE losses this season.

I honestly feel bad for the kid. I'd be willing to bet any amount of money that if Marty Mcfly showed up with his flux capacitor and gave this kid a "do over" he would have gone somewhere else out of high school...and I can't say I blame him.

It's pretty obvious the last defense/argument that the Golden supporters are busting out is to now attack the QB...who mind you is doing everything he is doing IN SPITE of the fact we have one of the worst OC's and overall coaching staffs in the country.

+1

Kaaya led a comeback down 17-3 and took a lead late in the fourth. Defense screwed that up. Not on him.

He got another chance with plenty of time and failed to deliver................AGAIN!

To help Kaaya, Folden should have called timeout to settle the kids down and to tell Kaaya not let any more passes get batted down.....or roll him out of the pocket.

That is why Folden sucks!
Lulz at rolling Kaaya out of the pocket. Kid can barely back pedal out from under center

again he is good not elite nor special

he had 3 tries against FSU to beat them the last two years,

He gave us the lead against FSU and the defense couldn't hold it. The defense let FSU run through it on that last drive last swiss cheese.

If he had an ounce of athleticism he'd be elite. An ounce of athleticism and a slightly stronger arm he'd be elite and special. As it stands, he's just a very good college QB

I think this is the fairest assessment of hist skill set yet to emerge.

Kid is stuck under the worst staff in the country. His coordinator is a clown. His head coach is a passive tool that likes to hold on to leads.

That kid has no shot at reaching his full potential with this staff.

This. He had receivers open against F$U on the final drive and his OL were allowing defenders to get up and bat balls down instead of holding their blocks.

Point me to the last game winning drive by Kaaya? I'll hang up and listen.

Good, but limited.

Here is the thing: He had us in front in most games we lost only to have the defense give up the lead. If you want to judge a QB based on what he does when his defense gives up game winning leads late, then Kaaya might not be your man. How many NCs would Miami have if it's defense gave up late leads to FSU? Kid has delivered late leads is big games. He crushed FSU last year, only to have defense and coaches give the game away. Give this kid a useful defense and coach and he will probably never find himself to NEEDING a last second drive because he already had the game in hand.

When the D line jump to bat down passes the Oline is supposed make them pay by hitting and driving then straight in the chest and and lower body. Once you punish them they stop putting their hands up.

hating on our best player is dumb. its like saying duke johnson is the reason we were 6-7 last year.

we ran the ball for 20 fing yards against fsu and lost by 5 points. you guys are *****ing about him failing to have a signature drive? he had it earlier in the game. we were up 24-23.

all we had to do was stop 1 guy on fsu but we couldnt do it. then you put him in a 2 minute drill with fsu knowing even if we have the time we wont run it because we cant. give him a ****** o-line to boot that gets a penalty every other play.

If we would've kelp Jeff Stoutland and promoted him as head coach i have no doubt we would be a much better team than we have was. Al Golden is F***ing Trash. Kaaya will go out to be a great NFL QB and you're telling me Golden can't get the most out of him?

Isidora got destroyed on that play, man if he blocked it the right way that game might have ended differently, we were destroying them with those underneath routes all night

Kayaa had several balls batted down in the game, once a Oline puts his hands up you have to make them pay for putting their hands up. If you punish them early in the game those hands come down.
