Kaaya Haters - where did you go?

Hate Kaaya? That's just stupid. Best QB we've had in ages (since Dorsey, IMHO). Just wish we had coaches who could use him to the best of his abilities.
There's no doubt he's the best QB we've had since Dorsey.

I disagree and would put Brock Berlin ahead of him at this point. Berlin could do everything he's done this year and could run it as needed. Sure, he was older and his first year was bad, but that second year he played very well.
Go back and look at Brock's stats compared to Kaaya's. Brad has a better TD/INT ratio and passer rating than Berlin had in either year that he started at Miami. And Berlin was surrounded by a much better team, better defense, and had a running game to compliment his passing game. Not to mention, Kaaya is putting up these numbers as a true Frosh/Soph.

Brock beat FSU 3 Times...................Kaaya choked twice!

Kaaya has been killing it since the 2nd half of the FSU game. Key reason for our win. But the kid still needs to get better.

He could be statistically the worst QB on 3rd down in college and those are the most important downs there are.

Clean that up and he is one of the best in the country. If he doesn't then everyone on this board will be disappointed by him over and over again.

For people to act like Brad doesn't get a lot of flack on this board is lying to themselves. Anytime someone says anything positive about him, you have multiple people running on here to tear him down. This thread alone is evidence, and it's tame compared to the hate he normally gets on here.

Yeah because beating FSU in those years when they were crap is the same as beating them in 2015. Moron.

Who has been hating on him?

He still has fundamentals to work on.

He still hasn't had any clutch performances against quality competition th at resulted in a win.

Those seem to be the main talking points and they're accurate.

400 yds at Doak Campbell isn't clutch?

Brad Kaaya is the reason we didn't beat Florida state. He didn't close the game out. He's a great QB at home, on the road hasn't proven much to me.

Miami will only go as far as Kaaya can take them, and that's probably 8 wins. Gotta be able to win on the road & close games to be a great QB. He's just really good...

He comes up with a big fat d0ughnut in the only stat that matters...ZERO comeback wins.
Harris & Morris had comeback wins at this point in their careers...Kaaya?...ZEEEEEE...RO.

Brock was surrounded my elite talent and still sucked his Jr year, he was god awful. He was decent his Sr year but Kayaa is far better , even as a Fr.

Imagine Kayaa with those skill guys and ol that Brock had, it would be scary.

NOT WHEN YOU LOSE BECAUSE YOU CHOKED ON THE LAST DRIVE.......AGAIN!

Absolutely.

Kaaya hasn't done Jack Sh*t!

A lot of flack and hating are two different ballgames.

Yeah it's Kaaya's fault that his OL can't stay engaged with DL and allows them to get after every pass. The kid still has a lot to learn but anyone that says it's his fault we lost at FSU clearly didn't watch Dalvin Cook blow load after load all over the defense.

Oh yeah, that Defense was sick. I believe it was top five nationally, maybe number two. An average qb would've taken us to a title.

He single handily lost the VT game.

Why are we talking to a troll like Sonny_Long? Just look at his selfie in his profile picture. Anybody worth any weight can see that Kaaya is a special talent and is on pace to break every Miami passing record with a trash team and coaching staff. Kaaya had us leading late against FSU the past two years, without him we're blown out. See the two games before him for proof. He'll be in the league at the end of his junior season.

he is good. we could be doing a lot worse..

he still misses throws and not sure if he does not read the blitzs very well but he seems to audible to the blistizing side at times..
I would like to us under center more on short yardage downs..

when its 3 2 and you are in the shot gun its 3rd and 7 then you hand off to a standing RB with no momentum and he get stuffed....

beat clemson I will give him 4 and half stars for now 3.5

Kaaya had a chance to beat FSU Twice AND FAILED Twice.

All you can ask for is a legitimate chance to win games late. Kaaya got those chances and Failed..... Twice.

He's the only reason we had those chances and get got us the lead late in both games. Defense killed it. Man worked miracles to even give us a shot. Stop being so obvious troll.

kayaa isnt the problem. if he had a better quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator he would be even better than he already is.

if you want to get down to it the guys who get their d slurped in college football these days are hybrid quarterbacks that both run and pass. those guys rarely do well at the pro level. miami has never had guys like that. just look back historically.
