Kaaya Game 2 highlights

I only saw one black dude playing defense. I'll wait for better competition before crowning him.

Hart is one of the top high school programs in southern cal year in and year out and this year is no different as they are Top 100 in the country and Top 25 in the state

From mshated305:

His team lost a shootout. 55-54. They went for 2 at the end and win and did not get it.

Brad Kaaya finished 16 of 37 for 370 yards and three touchdowns

Not exactly Drew Brees like accurate....

right, because you can tell from the numbers purely if he was accurate or not.....

i was at the game, he was way more accurate that the stats suggest, many catchable balls not caught by receivers, and a few outstanding defensive plays.

I liked what I saw in person, how he rallied them back.

His junior highlight film was worrisome in that he rarely made more than one read. In this game, he seems to be reading combo routes. That's a positive.

It's not that relevant for a QB as he's also playing with a weaker supporting cast than you would see in Dade. It would be one thing if his team had superior offensive weapons but they don't.

really? it's a hs game. you are worried about the stat line? like someone else said, the stats tell the story. how many drops, etc. some of you have no clue.

I know no one will want to read this but...

He looks just like Kyle Wright.

If he has any pocket awareness then I have no problem taking that as a positive. Wright had all that physical attributes you want out of a QB. He just crumbled at the first hint of pressure. Wright literally couldn't look downfield if he thought there was any pressure on the pocket. Kaaya actually showed some poise in the pocket on a few of those. On one play he definitely got rocked after the throw on the backside.

Crazy to think that way but I have thought exactly the same thing. Brad will be fine. He should have time to develop (redshirt) once he arrives at UM.

I think Wright got crushed his first time against fsu so badly that he was never the same

And from the front too at 1:08. Just what I was looking for, nice to see him getting smacked in his highlights and still follow thru.
