QB: Brad Kaaya, Miami
This past summer was a disaster at quarterback for Miami, which lost starter Ryan Williams to injury and prospect Kevin Olsen to off-the-field issues, but Kaaya provided a resounding solution. After some early struggles on the road in his first start, Kaaya was exceptional, leading the ACC in touchdowns (25), yards per attempt (8.6) and passer rating (148.2) while proving to be one of the best deep-ball threats in the country.

I'll admit, watching the opener at Louisville I thought Kaaya was going to have a typical freshman season and make a lot of rookie mistakes (tons of pics, shaky confidence, lack of leadership, etc.)...which would have been understandable. And I know he didn't have best protection in that game either.

But he continued to improve and hardly looked like a freshman as the season progressed.

Very impressed by the kid. Of course, there are areas for improvement but that's always the case. Usually more so for a true freshman, however.

He's the one thing that gives me a glimmer of hope for the future.

Zone said Harris and Morris were better than him
 
Sad part is..if this kid continues to develop at the rate we all think he will...he might actually singlehandedly save Al Goldens job. Smh.

He took his first drive under center down the field for a TD in hostile stadium in national TV night game. Can't start any better -- after that coaching and complete lack of defense took over in effort to ruin this kid. For me, give him Howard and staff and we would be looking at comparing him to Kelly. This kid could take us to NC and win Heisman with proper staff. When you ask your QB to be both the leader of your offense and the primary weapon for your defense, you doom him. Considering he was being asked to cover up Al's huge failing on the defense, this kid might be 10x better than any of us think.
 
It'll be interesting to see Kaaya next year, he loses a ton of weapons this year. Coley's got a big task ahead of him this year.

Would like to see him with a healthy, experienced OL too.... Kid is a worker like we haven't had at QB in over a decade. He will be the best player on this team next year

Which is laughable. For those that say Kaaya is at best a mediocre QB, this takes a lot of wind out of their sails.

A lot of players will need to step up next year in order for Kaaya to blossom.

Coley, Scott, Waters, whoever plays LT and C, Dobard, Edwards/some Freshman.

Off topic, is Trayone Gray staying at RB?
