These are kaaya and watson stats last vs pressure and the numbers are similar. Kaaya took better care of the football too. A lot of people claimed he wasnt good at making throws with pressure and this shows he can handle it.

Then again Watson 4105 pass yds 35 td's 1105 rushing yds 12 td's
Kaaya 3238 pass yds 16 td's -4 rushing yds 2 td's

Wouldn't trade Kaaya for anybody, but the guy that's probably the Heisman favorite goes to Clemson

Golden's staff vs Dabo's staff.

Kaaya also had receivers drop a lot of passes that could've been touchdowns. What set's Watson apart is his running ability playing in that spread. I'll take Kaaya all day in a pro-style scheme, but in the college game Watson is a super star.

I'm assuming it doesn't mean the same thing as "vs the blitz". It's hard to believe that teams only blitzed 97 times in the 15 games Clemson played last season.

I'd like to see the rushing stats under that same category.
Look above at Daddacane's post..

I was concerned more with rushing statistics while under pressure.

I'd bet that Watson had some dropped or called back TD's as well.

Watson is the better player to this point and college is what I care about.

Get ready for a long thread of Canes fans trying to discredit a stat that favors Kaaya in order to eat Watson's a$$.

Watson won't do **** in the NFL

He's a product of his system

Kaaya is a straight beast...he has Heisman written all over him

i dont know if stats can show the deer in the head lights, overwhelmed by the moment expression Kaaya constantly shows in every 4th quarter of a big game

4th quarter completion percentage and TD/Int ratio would probably be more telling than your retarded anecdotal "his face looks different" bullshyt.

i dont know its a weak comparison.... when you have what it takes to win you will take chances, instead of dropping it off 2 yards to a rb on 4th and 10, for example.

And how many of those stats for Watson where when his team played in the cfb playoffs against the best of the best?

Im counting on Kaaya to get it done this year but so far he's like Matt Ryan for the Falcons.... stats never match the results on the field.

edit / I take that back.. Matt Ryan has actually led the Falcons to comeback victories. Kaaya is really just an anomaly at this point. Hopefully he can overcome his in game issues and can carry the team to being better than most expect.

When kaaya starts carrying the team like a real super star QB does, then his stats will matter. Seriously, who gives a ****. One QB carried his team all the way, while the other one didn't. What else matters?

Shutup... You can't make statements like this without providing the advantages Watson had around him compared to kaaya including coaching, oline/ dline play, defense, running game and a better group of receivers..

I love how everyone is a downgrade but Kaaya lol

Miami needs this system badly, especially considering the lack of game rep experience behind Brad Kaaya. Look at what Strivr Lab's virtual reality training did to improve D.Watson in just 1year. An considering the weather problems in Miami, this could negate the problem of lost practice time quite a bit.
