k. Bryant

So a rich man's Malik Rosier is the answer? I guess that's the best we can hope for. Means Perry and Weldon are gone, wouldn't be surprised if that means Williams will try to transfer at the end of next season since Rick isn't going to start Williams over his nephew.

Might be the best of a bunch of bad options at this point. There is a good Perry and Weldon are gone anyway. And it's not like 2019 QBs are waiting in line to play in this offense.

Under Ricks tutelage, Kaaya's stock dropped from possible first round pick to sixth round pick, Rosier plunged from 10 game winner to embarrassment, Perry went from #3 dual threat to likely transfer. I don't think Bryant will want to be a part of that trend.

It's like Rick has the "Midas Touch" but with **** fingers.

Just going to say here what I said on TOS - there is a bigger picture with Bryant and even Jalen Hurts. They know what it takes to win. I would imagine Bryant has a bit of a chip on his shoulder and a desire to succeed. He is also mature and would be a good role model for the younger guys.
There would certainly be better competition for whoever stays around.

I think it more likely Bryant considers Miami than Hurts.

Who knows if Max Johnson will even end up here. I don't think that's a given as much as some people do.

I like bringing in Bryant for this simple reason. He's a decent QB, and an upgrade from Rosier. He's also developed.

If he were to come here and start, and our offense still looks like trash then it would remove any and all excuses for those that argue against Richt's ineptitude.

You only reach out/sell Bryant on coming here unless sweeping changes are coming to the offense. It would be hard to fathom otherwise.

1. Rick and Johnson are related
2. Since they are related, Johnson doesn't have to establish that he is qualified to be the starter
3. Miami will likely be the only school where he doesn't have to earn his spot

Smart money is on Johnson to the U.

Any offense similar to Clemson or Auburn and this guy will excel. Will be a disservice otherwise.

If Richt brings him in, this is a major indictment on his ability to recruit QBs. This kid is not anywhere near elite and was passed up for a true freshman by the team that we are trying to catch up to in the ACC. At this point, Richt's handling of the QB situation should be enough to have him fired.

Underrated comment

What better way to get revenge on your former school than to beat them in the ACC Championship. As longs as Williams is cool with I'm all for it. Perry *** isn't going anywhere.

Richt made Rosier a 10-game winner. Rosier started 1 game before Richt got there.

I'd take him if Richt was indeed going to give up play calling after this season and implement a new offense. Because Bryant is about as bad a fit as you can get in a pro system, let alone Richt's vanilla scheme.

After what you've seen you're rocking with Kosi still? Idk man, a 1-year band aid of KB allowing Jarren to grow sounds pretty good to me.
We have to keep perspective. Kosi can still improve. Fans have to stop thinking every kid can be a Tua. This is Kosi's first year playing. Bryant was let go from Clemson because they were winning in spite of him, not because of him. He'll come here and be above average at best, we'll win 8 -10 games, but we'll be right back in the same spot a year later with QB questions. It makes no sense to me! He's not even that good as a passer my dude. Play one of the young kids and stick with them.
