NFL scouts don't care about players taking benefits. Never hindered one person as NFL scouts know this is a bullchit rule. AQM will get more flack for getting suspended for a year due to a fight then taking benefits. If he balls out with 10-15 sacks, he will likely get a 1st round grade.

Both situations could affect his draft status, providing he ever had one. Ten years ago this wouldn't have mattered much, but in today's NFL image conscience environment, it would certainly call into question his decision making.

Two things:

1.) GMs can always explain away drafting the boring guy in the first round; you get fired if you take a guy with even the perception of red flags in the first round and the bust

2.) Teams routinely try to get these pass rushers at a discount. Witness Noah Spence and Randy Gregory the past 2 years. It doesn't matter if he actually has anything wrong with him, they will just see 3 suspensions in 3 years and use that as an excuse to drop his stock. Simple business.
