Dont know alot about the guy but reading his resume....looks like Golden 2.0 Couple good seasons at a small time school playing other small time schools. Yes he beat Ole Miss...but lost last year to both ranked teams they played. Giving up alot of points. Just think there is better out there.

How many 10 win seasons does al have?
Bowl wins?
Conference titles?
Wins over top 20 teams?

Oh and Memphis isn't a Mac school

well at least this sb nation blogger thinks fuente is a perfect fit. this was written before golden was fired and seems like he called for the miami collapse
