What did he say about Bama? I didn't watch those fools. But that’s not what he said.

Nothing. Just that who u lose to matters. What did he say about Bama? I didn't watch those fools.
Are we certain 11 isn’t good enough? While the CFP guy mentioned our two horrendous embarrassingly bad no good downright atrocious losses and praised ND for their beautiful 2 defeats, he said if we’re close enough in the rankings the head-to-head will matter significantly. I could have heard him wrong or misinterpreted it but that’s what it sounded like to me.I think we can and will jump Utah with 2 big wins. But that doesn’t do anything. Need at least OU or Bama to lose. BYU will lose to Texas Tech.
Which means, we’re gonna finish 11th and be the first team out.
Can anyone follow up with best WINS????What garbage. “Miami’s 2 loses worse than ND’s 2 loses”, so much for winning games. “ND and Miami are not in the same tier so the head to head doesn’t matter”.

I don’t see anywhere ND can move up.
Missouri is what we are rooting forI think we can and will jump Utah with 2 big wins. But that doesn’t do anything. Need at least OU or Bama to lose. BYU will lose to Texas Tech.

I don’t think it’s such a pipe dream. ND really can’t move up. BYU will drop after losing conference championship. That puts ND in the “comparison tier.” My hope is that if we win out, we jump Utah (should have already) and jump ND with the H2H.I only said 10 because the G5 champ and ACC champ will probably both be lower than that. So #10 will be the last at-large team. I don’t think we’re going to catch/pass ND, that’s a pipe dream. They’re 4 spots ahead.
And they’re currently getting an *** whippin by Western Michigan.Who you lose to matters
unless that team is northern illinois
Wanna bet?Wrong
Or how about wins/losses against teams based on how they FINISHED, not what they were when they were 4-0. Most of those being G5 teams and an an FCS.The thing with Bama is that they've been so artificially pumped with "ranked wins" that it covers up that fsu loss.
They'll point to wins over Tennessee, Missouri and Vandy. Three teams that have their rankings because they are in the SEC.
P.S. the "ranked win" metric needs to be shot into the moon. A win over #25 means so much, but #26 means nothing. How stupid. These committe ppl know what theyre doing to keep the SEC at the top.
I paraphrased a bit, but yes they asked the commissioner specifically about ND and Miami. As others pointed out he did say if we were able to make it into the same tier as ND then the head to head would matter. They are currently not comparing ND to Miami though. We have to beat the crap out of VT and Pitt basically and maybe get some help in front of us, and they will still probably find some BS excuse. Are those quotes from tonight's show? Wild if so
How do you jump a tier when teams like Utah get stuffed between us and ND to prevent the head to head being considered?I paraphrased a bit, but yes they asked the commissioner specifically about ND and Miami.
