2026 Justice Fitzpatrick 4* ATH/CB from STA Commits to UGA

Another wasted visit.

These guys are aggressive, but aggression just for the sake of it is a waste of resources.

There are 5-6 South FL guys I’d stop recruiting immediately. He’s one of them.
can you expand? are you sayig we have zero chance of landing him? he's not really interested, just visiting for fun?

I disagree. Even if you don;t land these kids out of a high school, it is still smart to have built the relationships because if and when these talented kids that initially spurned us - hit the portal- Mario can then land them.

There’s not an infinite number of visits allowed on campus per year.

You can’t and shouldn’t burn them on kids that have shown zero interest outside of going to games for free.

It's a rock and a hard place, highly touted player from a respected school, just tough to say no, especially with SoFl politics

I think they changed that rule and besides wouldn't this be an unofficial visit which wouldn't count against a limit of official visits anyways. I may be wrong as I'm definitely not a NCAA rules expert and I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn last night either

Generally, I would agree.

He’s made clear he doesn’t want to be at Miami with his actions.

Took less $ to go to UGA.

What does that tell you about his interest in Miami?

You’re right.

It used to be 70 per recruiting year, but it’s currently suspended. So it is unlimited.

In that case, they can spend as much time and $ they deem fit to this guy.

He’s still not coming here, but since it’s not limited, who cares.

Any reason to do this for long term potential?

I.e. if he transfers, or just so that to have someone at STA going to Miami visits and that's a conversation starter

I get your point but why not invite him and hang out with his buddies? Doesn't hurt anyone. I mean I wouldn't go super hard after him if that's the case, but recruiting a high profile and high ranked in your backyard, gotta shoot your shot even if he ain't into it.
