Justice article on player bonding

The amusing part to all of this is y'all are so confused why this team is so soft... Our oline coach goes around coddling kids and nurtures there egos and our dline coach makes sure to bring in various frozen treats and pies with sprinkles and **** on them continuously. A team plays to a coaches personality & it's lines strengths... Self explanatory.
Searels was a total *******. How'd that work out?

i just googled "Stacy Searels dessert" to make sure your theory checked out -- and holy **** no wonder Mark Richt had a heart attack:

A widely circulated picture from Richt's Twitter account showed him eating breakfast with highly prized quarterback commit Jacob Eason at Jake's Cafe in Snohomish, Washington on Sunday, less than 24 hours after completing a victory over Auburn.

According to 247sports.com's Rusty Mansell, Richt downed a hefty 10-egg omelet and some biscuits and gravy.

Gotta say, weird time to be posting this. The o-line is improved because of Justice, and there are many words I’d use to describe the d-line before the word soft.

There’s a definite use for aggression and hardness, but it has to be constructive and Searels was awful at that.

I know you know Searels had no connection to his players and had no idea how to communicate with them.
Guess we choose where the bar is set. Understanding what's responsible for our strengths and weaknesses is key. On here it's duh that guy's unit sucks so it couldn't be on no one but him and the same for success. Its a team game for a very good reason. I had this conversation with an old homeboy that played for the colts till recently and went to Stanford. Best advice ever and I always slip. He said vast majority of people don't understand what They watching and as a result say some of the dumbest ****. As a result he refuses to talk or watch football with anyone who hasn't achieved the same success. Searles for instance definitely didn't relate to his players and he's not where you wanna set the bar. He however also was dealt a **** hand all around. Iv e never personally in my life seen a good coach who is soft with kids. Kids respect what they fear as long as you can show them two sides to that coin. Go tell jimmy make some moon pies for kids and see what he tells u.

Freezing cold take here.

My dog loves me to death and all she gets is a bowl of the same crunchy stuff every day and pizza crust once in a while.

I feel playing both sides of the coin. In regards to choosing where our bar is set, my bar is admittedly not high rn. We have to walk before we can run and it’s unrealistic to hold this team to standards of the past until it’s actually within reach.

And even if we’re not at your standard, it FEELS as if the staff has a long way to go but is definitely on an upward trend, especially on offense.

Also keep in mind it’s 2020 and teaching styles have changed, just the way of the world.

You just gotta realize there difference between some dude who played optimist ball as an olineman and then jv ball for several years before settling in as a gas station attendant and someone who's actually achieved in any form of competition. Be it the business world, sports or anything else. Its a certain type of individual who can comprehend what's necessary to peak at something. Those two positions require a caveman's mentality. How does sprinkles and ice cream help develop that...

Talk about grasping for straws right here.

Lets do it like Urban Meyer and get some criminals in here. They are very tough and strong.

Why do defensive ppl go to extremes to make a point?
Because the opposing point is so insanely stupid, only extremes will grab their attention.

Edit: Jimmy Johnson openly said that the notion, football is for the big and tough guys, is bull****. I would rather listen to him.

Were gonna agree to disagree. Whether or not you guys deem something achievable, it starts with coaching... Kids only know what they know. Its on a coach to teach them that. Its absurd how that's not understood by all. Plenty of teams all throughout sports have far less talent than us yet their coaches understand how to get that talent out of them. Look at ivy league basketball & in some instances football. Boise, michigan state, all these mid their squads. The bar sure the fvck ain't where it was set by us years ago & at this point that's fine. But should you simply say anything is better than nothing? Is not about the results all the time. But if you can't embrace the process then the results will never NEVER come along. Our culture should never include this. That's what you want as a child for sports. That's The equivalent of a participation trophy. People who settle our embrace participation trophies never demand ****... That's the bar. Don't settle for mediocrity in any form. Simple.

Stopped after "Its not about results all the time".

Talk about "dont settle for mediocrity", yet its not about results all the time. Stupid.

I honestly think you don’t understand my perspective. This is exactly what I’m an advocate of.

Part of the process is knowing Rome wasn’t built (rebuilt) in a day. No real Cane fan is ever settling for 10 wins. We’d all prefer to be the standard every program holds their guys to.

I’m not gonna pretend I’ve done anything close to you when it comes to football, but that is irrelevant here. There are multiple ways to teach and hold a high standard. Many ways to communicate effectively.

And as of now I’m trusting the process until it plateau’s or regresses. The team is no where near a finished product, but I’m also not gonna call it baby soft because the new o-line coach has put in the effort to gain his players’ trust or because the d-line coach’s wife baked some cupcakes for a kid’s birthday.

Hey idiot. What Jimmy meant by that is not everyone physically fits that narrative. Not what your dumbass just tried to turn it into like jimmy would go around serving people cotton candy. You call something insanely stupid because I'd venture to guess you can't grasp this level of commitment. You probably will have a drawer full of ribbons or lil league trophies. If you knew **** about this level of competition maybe then you'd get it.
Dude, you are getting ****ed off because players get sweets and call them soft because of it. Marshawn Lynch must have been soft too since he ate Skittles before ganes.

Lets not forget that probably the entire team puts you on your butt after you have labeled them soft after they started 4-1. Punters and kickers included.

You're as nutty as I am, and I like that. Why the fck would you google "Stacy Searels dessert" and how did that wind up with Rick having a heart attack? LOL

Ed Reed doesnt appear to have a problem with. McKinnie and Joaquin are in support of Justice. Blustein called Justice a homerun hire.

I wonder who is soft here. The 4-1 Miami Hurricanes or the anonymous CanesInsight porster, who ******* about players getting stuff to eat and calling them soft as a result of it.
