This is just the most logical take. This was clearly a huge moment in a game that felt like we absolutely needed to win. He stepped up. We clearly didn't trust him too much and tried to make it easy. But he played pretty big in the second half specifically. The TD drive to end the game, he was excellent. In a game like this there were definitely a bunch of negatives. But to pull out the Win, that's huge.

That second half was very telling.. that was impressive man. He didn’t get the happy feet once. That’s a building block

He's not a fraud. He's actually one of the best posters we have here. We win this game by 30 with a healthy TVD. With that being said Emory Freaking Williams , no lube start thrown in the fire and survived. Made some big throws and was never rattled. A win that was all heart.

No. He’s not.

But you can let him tell you he talked to Dawson and Emory isn’t ready and doesn’t have what it takes to win now.
 
I was impressed 2nd half when we stopped doing tunnel screens every play. Not his fault our guys kept getting stopped a yard short of the sticks. And obviously clutch and got the job done (helps the running game started cooking)

Emory can play.

I saw a comment that Dawson told someone on this board that Emory wasn’t ready yet? I would just say it reflected in the play calls in the 1st half, but looks like the training wheels came off in the 2nd half, especially with some of those throws in the 4th qtr.

Would love to know what Dawson thinks now. Baptism by fire and Emory came out the other side. Looks like he just might have that moxie you look for in a qb.

Obviously TVD starts when he’s back, but would love to see an Emory get a series or two a game from here on out.

He never downplayed the kids talent.. the narrative was that he could play NOW if needed.. he just doesn’t necessarily agree.
