He left early because he wasn’t learning anything. It’s evident that Richt ruined his draft stock. He might’ve not have been the hyped 1st round pick like he was in the spring but he definitely wouldn’t have been borderline undrafted if Coley would’ve stayed...and trust me when I say I almost barfed saying that.

Morris and Kaaya’s were decent, but when compared to consecutive QBs Kelly, Kosar, Testaverde, and Walsh....

Kyle Wright had potential. Wrong place at the wrong time.

Both had more draft hype than Walsh...they definitely would’ve been better if they had those QB’s weapons.

Walsh was a 1st round pick. True, by JJ, but he was also traded for a 1st round pick.

Wright, Morris, Jacory, and Kaaya all would have benefited by better coaching. Marve, too.

Everyone recruits bad QB’s. But the way we handled the QB’s under the Richt era is scary bad. This year, you would think we’d go after several prospects and hope to get 1 or 2. Instead, moron John Richt put all his eggs in basket and failed miserably. It’s clown show.

That’s still a 1st round pick. Dallas forfeighted a first round pick in 1990 to select Walsh in the 1989 supplemental draft. After JJ drafted Aikman in April.

Kosar was a 1st round supplemental pick also.

Point being the foursome of Kelly, Kosar, Vinny, and Walsh is light years ahead of anything recruited after Dorsey in 1999.

Best thing that could have happed was for Perry to get suspended.The kid sucks and was waaaaaaay overrated coming out of HS.Has a great arm but has no idea where it’s going when he throws it.The Ryne Duren of CFB.

If he hadn’t got suspended the idiots that are the Richt twins would have given him the job even though Stevie Wonder could see the kid sucked.

If only one good thing comes out of this offseason I’ll take him getting suspended as it so JW gets a shot.
