...that I'm absolutely fu*king giddy at the University's commitment to the football program now. We are dropping $$$ like we've never done before - chasing (and often landing) some of the greatest coaches out there.

Welcome to big time college ball, y'all! Time to awaken this sleeping giant and rip NCAAF a new one.

We are dropping $$$ like never before, but I wonder if we can really catch up enough to get to championship level. If the DC target was Aranda, then I think we are still second tier. It looks like the salary inflation in college football is accelerating.

Having the highest stash salary is not a requirement for championships.

It has been proven over and over again that if you put the right staff in place at Miami with the level of athlete available within a 20 mile square radius .....

YOU WIN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS!

If someone told you 5 years ago that Mark Richt and Manny Diaz were coaching together at Miami you would have passed out on the spot....

Exactly.. Unc had the smallest salary of any staff in the power 5 and went 11-3

Texas spends retarded money, Texas gets retarded results. Spending money doesn't guarantee results.

ADAT

but I thought Miami was bankrupt and a terrible job according to mainstream media?

You reap what you sow.....we will start winning on the football field.
