They’re disciplined teams. Hence why he said “football IQ”Right, because teams like Ole Miss, Georgia, and Alabama are made up of Rhodes Scholars

You really shouldn't need to have to explain this...They’re disciplined teams. Hence why he said “football IQ”
It’s amazing to me how dumb MOST coaches are w clock management - and I’m talking NFL tooI’d give the test to the coaches too cause we don’t have any Mensa alumni among them either.
I’m glad that somebody other than me noticed. Some of the penalties were bull**** calls. Not one holding call on Tech.
Even Tech fans around us were shaking their heads.I’m glad that somebody other than me noticed.
Our WR’s were held and interfered with on multiple plays, and the Tobacco Road refs ate their whistles. Our D-Line was also blatantly held various times, and not one flag.
It’s tough enough to win with this staph and team. When you also have to play against the zebras, it makes it even more difficult.
The 2 TD drives that VT had were mostly yardage gained from bullshyt penalties.
That all starts at the top of the team @k9cane.Miami needs much smarter football players. Our guys football IQ is incredibly low in so many ways
There's never been a good dumb team.
From not understanding how to play certain coverage's, penalties, etc. It's maddening to see
Miami won, but they really survived versus a bad team, lets be honest
None of our HC in recent memory have called out the league or the refs. I would have already done it.Even Tech fans around us were shaking their heads.
Different discussion. So Mario could win 12 games with less talent than we supposedly have now, but all of a sudden he's a caveman who doesn't understand the game? Explain that one.
With the 10 coaches and 50 analysts on staff how is Miami still so dumb in this regard?Miami needs much smarter football players. Our guys football IQ is incredibly low in so many ways

You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink. It’s up to the coaches to get the players to play smarter. That’s all there is to it.
These aren’t horses. They’re football players and they need to be coached and taught. That’s how it works. No one is gonna convince me that the problem is that the roster is full of guys who just have a low football IQ and can’t be coached to play smarter. You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink.

You seem to be saying he has a good resume.
I think most are saying his resume is irrelevant, he is not performing now...today...this year. We don't get spotted touchdowns each game because he won 12 games a few years ago.
This year is all that matters.

A certain poster has been saying this for years…but speed bro. Speed is the answer.Trying to win on athleticism alone isn’t going to do anything
Basics? Then we should all agree to disagree, because you aren't going to convince me that Georgia's players are taught the basics when they get to Athens.
