Under Golden, players are neutered at freshman orientation followed by drinking the Golden flavored koolaid and therefore are unable to fulfill your request.
 
Isn't that what Burrow said just before he "retired"? Plus, I am thinking the entire team has said same thing silently the last two years after the FSU game.
 
I wish we had real media. A media member in Knoxville asked Butch Jones which brick blowing 13 point leads in 3 straight represented.

And Luther Robinson.

The problem is that it takes the entire team have a rebellion for anything to get done. We've seen it in the past. Dirk Koetter was fired at Arizona State after the team rebelled and told the AD they would no longer play for him.

The real issue is that golden doesnt do anything "wrong" that kids can go to the AD on. Golden merely sucks at his job. ITs on the AD to do his job. If the AD won't do his job its on the University President to do theirs. If that person won't do their job its on the board of trustees. If they won't take action then its on the fans, which is why we see banners flying over empty seats.
 
The whole team needs to confront Golden in the locker room before going out on the field. Strength in numbers. What is *** gonna do; suspend the whole team?

Majority of the team loves Golden...Only player who slightly rebelled was Quan refusing to come out in fourth quarter at FSU
 
If this team loses to VT on Saturday it will definitely implode because they all know the season is done and Golden will be a dead man walking
 
Lol yall want a Varsity Blues scene. But seriously, something like what the op said could be done but in a more respectful way. The team belongs to the team just as much as it does to al and company.
 
Feel for these kids. They want better but cant voice their opinion because their coach is on some "my way or the highway" ish, AD doesnt care, President dont care, and BOT dont care. Like Duke mom said, if guys on the team could transfer and didnt have to sit out they would. Folden can run the unity game for so long before these thoughts rise back up in these guys heads, if it hasnt happened already.
