Our safety and nickel play has been **** near elite. Our corner play has been average. I can’t recall a single play from our corners this year that has been on the level of our safeties. For all of the noise with Wisconsin, I thought Lucas was more of a playmaking CB but I guess he’s just a solid player with great measurables.

This is definitely your opinion and while I agree with you that our safety play has been one of the best in the country, there’s something to be said about our corner play as well. They’ve been extremely good on this playoff run

I think the more pertinent question is who are they putting in at QB when Bain and Mesidor snap Mendoza in half?
I was in Berkeley last year. The crowd lost their minds when Wesley (I think) got away with a borderline targeting on fernandito. I don't think he was the same after that hit.

Who are we putting on Becker and Sarratt in the first half?

Becker is a killer in the vertical passing game. 6’4” and Mendoza throws it high to him where only he can get it. Mendoza has crazy good ball placement.
Exit stage left if you're scared. Boots are clearly unlaced. Tighten up

Our corners have done their assignment: slow down the opposition's passing game. You cannot reasonably ask corners to do much more.

Now that’s a take. He’s probably gonna be nfl Roy next season just wait lol. OSU offense does those guys no favors
**** no man lol, he cool but people hyping him like he the #1. Our dbs nice but jit was a no show how he get a pass, every osu wr thats been elite get their game off no matter what how is the offense not doing him favors?

We need to shake his confidence early with a strip sack, or pick. Indiana has rarely got punched in mouth and found themselves down 10-14 points. They stay on schedule.

Penn State was gross this year, and they had them
beaten. Literally an otherworldly catch saved them in that game.

Penn State picked him once, sacked him 3 times, and held IU to 108 rushing yards.

These are ALL benchmarks Canes should hit, and in my opinion surpass.

They're not a perfect juggernaut people are making them out to be I watched the Iowa game and it was a tie game with under 2 minutes left. Iowa misses a field goal and then mendoza hits surrat on a game winner when Iowa does an all out blitz.

If they're smart, they'd try some of the boundary/field stuff Ole Miss does. Load the boundary, throw a couple 50/50s into the field (to Becker). Released quickly, our pass rush can't get there.

Actually, from all the clips ive seen...this is what they do best imo.
