Just enjoy the ride…

This program hasn’t been good for a long time and right now we are 8-0 when most seasons we are lucky to finish the season 8-4. Going into the season most of us would have been happy with a 9-3 or 10-2 year and here we are with a very good shot to finish the season 12-0.

Much of the last 20 years has been mostly pain and misery as Canes fan's, and here we are with a lot of fans shrugging off a 36-14 win against FSU like we have been this elite powerhouse recently. Just put some things into perspective and enjoy the ride because it’s been a great season.

Most us expected 10-2 or 11-1 to start the season. We altered expectations once cam dominated Florida.

We will be okay. Our defense can't get much worse and we are 8-0

Usually about this year we are breaking out the ridiculous scenarios of how we can possibly still win the ACC. We all know how well that has turned out. We actually have a good chance to win it this year because we actually have a good team.

Well said! I agree and am taking that approach as well. My only concern is did FSU stop Cam by scheme or personnel? Can Manny just copy FSU's scheme and shut Ward down next week? Like TVD and Georgia Tech? Another thing is I bet the over and lost my ***! But that is my personal loss not a fanbase concern.

I think Cam will learn from this game. He was clearly frustrate with the offense during and after the game. As always, he took the blame for not playing as well as he could in his post game interviews. I hope he and the WR/TE spend a lot of time this week looking through the film and figuring out how to improve for the last few games. They were not open much tonight - I'm sure there was plenty of holding that didn't get called but I'm sure there is more the WR could do....

Been saying this for weeks. You’re obviously 100% correct. I wait for football season all year, and when it gets here, it’s over in a blink. I’m never going to take winning for granted. Especially over that burning landfill of a program we just beat. I enjoyed every second of that game and couldn’t have been happier walking out of that building.

Winning is hard. Just two years ago, that team beat us 45-3. We lost in our building to something called middle Tennessee state. Now, beating them by 22 is somehow not good enough? Nah. We only get 12 of these that are guaranteed each year. When they go our way, I’m gonna enjoy it. Because there have been a LOT over the last 20 years that haven’t.
