His mentor Taylor was a hybrid DE/LB, HOF’er. Bain can be similar. Hybrid DE/DT/LB. **** he can play almost any position on the field,one of the most complete players Canes have ever had. That said play him where he wrecks the most damage. There aren’t two DE in CFB more electric and violent than Bain and Mesidor..FSU awaits, have no idea, what awaits them, GOCANES

Lining up Mesidor inside Bain in passing downs has been brilliant. If the QB somehow gets out then Lightfoot chases him down.

Heatherman lining him up opposite of the 3 other DL has been brilliant. I never bought the DT idea, even in high school he played like a powerful DE with advanced moves.

Aside from the obvious savages on the defensive side of the ball like Bain & Mez , the two guys that I consider to be the wild cats of this unit are Scott and Lightfoot.

These 2 dudes have been relentless in chasing down guys all over the field. I’m looking for each of them to be difference makers when we go up to tally in 2 weeks.
