A true freshman back up QB **** down the throat of Stanford under Harrell’s system and corch Helton at USC. Sure makes it easy to play defense when you score 38 points in 3 quarters. Cool that even a coach as bad as Helton can put his team in a great position to win and NOT have such a razor thin margin for error. What’s that like?

Graham was a name that came up. Air raid would have won big here but we got PLAYACTION PENOS instead. Locksley was the brains behind that Bama offense.

At some point, don't you start to think it's the whole program more than the OC? Think about what we saw last year and how we all said if Richt just did this or that we'd win 10. Seems to me Enos is doing enough of what we wanted, yet here we are. I honestly think it's about "culture", not coordinators.

We don't have the culture or players or whatever that makes you will yourself to victory. That sounds silly, but I think it's true. We've got the talent. We've got the coaches (at very least they're as good as the other second tier teams). The coaches and talent say the right kinds of things, but at some level we're just soft. At some point you make a play and win the game or you don't. In 2017 we made those plays. Now we don't.

We've been in position to win the first two games and haven't. We can say uf is technically more talented, so maybe that's not a huge deal? But UNC? They just played better and wanted it more.

We just don't want it bad enough.

Bro! **** I was about to post a thread bout this.

Btw, Graham was a hire we clamored for as OC, as well. Look what he’s doing for his QB

While I liked the quarters 2-4 of Enos for the most part tonight, have to agree on Harrell: he was great before and looking like a big time hire already for them.

I beg to differ my man.

All Richt needed to do was fire his son, which he refused. So we were stuck. Enos was not a great hire. His offense is avg, but I was hoping under Saban & Locksley he may have learned something about explosive plays. He doesn’t call a very good game, if I’m being honest.

Well that D line is no way as good as last year
TFL are down
Our Wr plays small limited catch radius
Our OL is getting better
RB are very good
Our TE is All American
Our LB no comment
Our CB need a kick in *** when it come to tackle
Our Safety are playing below average

How much “want “ do e have in our tank.

4 th and 17...and they get a first down. The unreal.

Walked back from this game to our cars, and NC fans were laughing that we could not do better in preventing 4 th and17..it was a running joke In the parking lot at at our cars in Chapel Hill.
Canes fans were as ****ed as I have ever seen....unreal

The consensus here last year was that average offense would win us 10+. And to be fair, our offense was at least average tonight.

We're simply too talented for any of our deficiencies to matter against UNC.

True; but that was b4 we got the lesser version of Manny Diaz in Blake Baker. Our def is not nearly the same. We wasted that effort
I see that, and I know our weak points, but none of that matters in a game like this. They simply aren't good enough to exploit our weaknesses unless we let them.

Did you see how many times a UNC receiver got behind our D and their QB just missed? Like a lot of times. That's not talent, that's effort.

USC and LSU were probably the last with us who held on to the "pro style bro" offense..

USC went full on air raid where you can plug and play any qb and light up scoreboards..

LSU which was definition of 3 yrds and cloud of dust offense, got tired of not even scoring against Bama and now Joe Brady has them boys wide open offense lighting up scoreboards..

Meanwhile in miami, we basically throwaway plays anytime we bring #81 on field to play fullback and just waste a down. Dam near everytime we had a play of 10+ yards Enos wanted to run i formation and 7 step drop into a negative play.. We struggle to put 25 pts on like a 2 win team..

The game has changed and Diaz lied when he said we would be cutting edge offense in his introduction. Jarren would KILL in air raid
