Just a question for those who regularly attend games...

Still going to GT/VT/Pitt. Already laid out the cash for hotel/tickets, and have the days off from work approved to go. Going to hang out in SFL the whole week of Thanksgiving. Win or lose, getting a quick Thanksgiving vacation away from work and in SFL is enough for me to keep all of my plans in place, in addition to seeing all of the folks I get to tailgate with.

Here's how I see it - I was still going to games to support the players even during the Shannon/Golden years where it was definitely not going to go our way. That, and I enjoy going to football games live. Had I simply said I wouldn't go to games until the team gets better...I miss going to the Duke game and the kickoff return w/laterals to win it. I would have missed out on seeing a lot of good players that we all claim as Canes for life (i.e. - Duke Johnson, Berrios, Njoku, etc) had I decided to say "we suck, I'm staying home". BUT - that's just me, and I can understand fully the motivations for some people to not go to games and vote with their lack of presence and wallets.

I will be at the last 4 games of the year. We are 2 years away from 58-0 to Clemson, this was never going to be a quick fix. The coaches blew the UVA game for sure but there is still a lot to play for this season.

Things are never as bad as they appear right after a loss. If we don't hire an OC over the off-season then I will question my attendance for next year.

I just requested refund for next year tickets. Probably not going to all the games. Richt is a clown and could care less what his track record is. He is behind the times, the game has passed him by, and he is STUBBORN

I'll be at the remaining 2 home games. I never go to road games anyway, so no altered plans here.

If I lived locally, Id still go to home games, the Hard Rock has become a real home for UM football
I understand, I live relatively close to hard rock so I go as much as I can. Before I wanted to travel to away games but was hesistant because I wanted Mark Richt and Co. to show me something and I was close to buying my LSU ticket but something came up before then but I’m glad In hindsight I didn’t go.

If our team on the road gave an effort on all 3 sides of the ball and looked well coached and prepared I wouldn’t mind paying to go to away games ... but to just lay an egg against uva and LSU is just disrespectful to the fan base and embarrassing. L

I don't bother with out of state road games anyways so it doesn't matter to me. I'll be at the last two home games since I've already paid for the season tickets. I enjoy the gameday experience.

a TON of fans said it was beyond class that miami did that especially husker fans

we won a LOT of people on the fence about miami with that

Are these the same Husker fans who rejoiced over NU's 62-24 win over UF in the NC game five years before?

I couldn't care less about fans on the fence about Miami. Miami has always been a love 'em or hate 'em team.

I am not saying to deliberately RUTS late in the game. We didn't and don't need that type of play. But I've always felt quitting too early teaches the team bad habits. If you want the players to play all out, coach that way.

Whenever Saban or Meyer run up 50+ point wins all I hear is how great Bama and OSU are. Especially in big games. Pete Carroll and USC beat OU 55-14 on the NC Orange Bowl. Anyone complain house classless that was? Nope.

Miami should have done the same at every opportunity.

OP hit it on the head. Banner's aren't the real message, not going to games and seeing empty seats, that's the real message. Everything's driven by money.

No more games for me this year. Cancelled all plans for Orlando next year. If we see some changes I'll recommit.

Otherwise I'll be spending my only day off doing something enjoyable.

I will not go to another away game until changes are made.

I will attend every home game because tailgating with friends and family is more important than any "game".

This. I will go to the home games. I always will.

I went to the UVA game. I am NOT traveling to another road game unless significant changes are made.

You
Pokemon, that's the thing, for a guy like me who lives 3000 miles away, there is almost no difference for me. But the cost is always basically the same. But the renovations to Hard Rock have now made home games for me much more palatable

Ive been to Oklahoma, Tennessee, FSU, Ohio State and BC(a couple times),Houston, UCLA, San Diego ST(my first Canes game in 1990, lol, what a trip, Tijuana!),NCState, Arizona and Arizona St, a few bowl games, FSU couple of times, and even Temple at the Linc(literally 5000 people in that huge stadium, it was surreal) just off the top of my head. And a bunch of home games at our current stadium and the beloved Orange Bowl.

Dont regret any of the trips, had fun, made great friends, seen UM win and get blown out, but there comes a point where the joke is on yourself if you keep doing this
Man I’m even nervous to travel to a game not so far from me in the Uf vs Miami game next year just because I wouldn’t be able to stomach being out coached by a guy like dan Mullen And the gators ...

I applaud you and our fan base outside of Florida for traveling to all those games and then some. Just hope if you make it out to UF vs Miami next year that our team and staff doesn’t let our traveling fan base down.

Looking forward to the Red Bandana experience now that I think about it. I'm a big admirer of Welles Crowther and, to a lesser extent, University of Miami football.

I live in Naples, and will probably go over for Duke game, thinking about going up to GT game in Atlanta, and assuming we haven't lost to any more crappy teams and I stay home for Thanksgiving I'll probably go to Pitt game.

I live in Miami and will no doubt attend our home games that are left (after I ask my wife for permission)

If we lose to BC, the stadium will be half empty for Duke. No joke, we might end up having better attendance for Savannah State, or maybe even the spring game, than for a conference game.
