how many of you have altered your plans to go to games the rest of the season(especially as it relates to road games)?

I know I have, I was thinking about going to BC and a home game at the Rock, but after the UVa debacle, Im like 'nah'.

Yeah, I know, I know Im a terrible, disloyal fan. But I just cant' watch this in-person, especially after going to Dallas for the LSU whipping

I do wonder how home attendance will be for our remaining games. Ive been told by more than a few fans they are done with this season and they wouldn't be traveling to any more games. So Im far from the only one. But you hear all the time that college football/athletics is a business, right? Well, whats taking place right now can't be good for the UM bottom line(in terms of the athletic department). You'd think - or hope - that if there is a significant decline that the higher ups would notice

As for the banners, to me, Im not huge on them either way( although I do find them amusing, I cant lie) but sometimes those are just written off as messages from the lunatic fringe(again, that's how it's perceived by some, not necessarily what I think) and I wonder how effective they really are. But a steep decline in the bottom line - yeah, to me that absolutely gets peoples attention.

Right now, the offensive product is well...offensive. It's boring, bland and unwatchable. Forget being unproductive, its just hard to watch. Our defense I can watch all day, love how they do things and the passion they have. But if this unit ever gets so frustrated by how little help the recieve on the other side of the ball and pack it in - look out, things could get REAL ugly. Im being dead serious, I don't see a for-sure win the rest of the schedule with the way the offense is performing

So yeah, I'll be watching intently, as I said before Im a glutton. But in terms of spending resources, time and money to travel thousands of miles, not till that offense is fixed. I can't be the only one who feels that way

I wasn't planning on attending another road game this year but best believe the plans are already there for Orlando and Tally next year.

No I don’t think you or any fan is unreasonable for not going ... I mean fans spend their own dime to go to these away games. Games like LSU and UVA are just a slap in the ******* face to our fan base

I went to UVA for that steaming pile of dogsh*t and won't go to another road game until changes are made. Too much effort, resources, etc. to be put in for them to not even show up. Embarrassing.

If you are a Canes fan and live in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach County area you should be going to the game. Support these kids no matter what.
Perhaps you’re right? Just maybe ...

If all of us continue to show-up, how will the Head Coach and AD know how we really feel?

Please put to rest that tired refrain “Support these kids ...”

First for me every game is basically a road game since I live in Alabama. The only game I've missed this season was Toledo. I've racked up some serious driving miles this season. So I was on the fence about the BC game. Now I'm less inclined to go. I was going to VT, and now I'm in a wait and see mode. I still will be going to Ga Tech and the Duke game.

Pokemon, that's the thing, for a guy like me who lives 3000 miles away, there is almost no difference for me. But the cost is always basically the same. But the renovations to Hard Rock have now made home games for me much more palatable

Ive been to Oklahoma, Tennessee, FSU, Ohio State and BC(a couple times),Houston, UCLA, San Diego ST(my first Canes game in 1990, lol, what a trip, Tijuana!),NCState, Arizona and Arizona St, a few bowl games, FSU couple of times, and even Temple at the Linc(literally 5000 people in that huge stadium, it was surreal) just off the top of my head. And a bunch of home games at our current stadium and the beloved Orange Bowl.

Dont regret any of the trips, had fun, made great friends, seen UM win and get blown out, but there comes a point where the joke is on yourself if you keep doing this

I can't blame you K9. I've been wanting to travel for a game for years but there was no chance I would spend the money under Golden. I was hoping a for better opportunity under Richt. The game does not have to be a guaranteed win. I could have flown across country for the SSU game for that. I want to sit at a big game where Miami has a chance to win.

I regret not traveling for last year's ND game. Circumstances prevented that, so I instead considered the LSU game. I'm glad I didn't make that trip.

Right now, I'll watch every game I can.

But I'm not sure I would drive 30 minutes to watch Miami play at USC or UCLA.

One thing I'm thankful for is Canes fans aint like phucking Cubs fans. Past the beginning of the end now, next mediocre hire coming.

LOL, I was Butch's first game at UCLA in 1995.

It was much better being at the Rose Bowl in 2002 as UM played for the national title...

If I go, it will be out of selfish desire or boredom, not loyalty.

Ex: Kids enjoy it, might go down for the Pitt game (Thanksgiving)

Meaningless silver linings:
- Senior Day
- Revenge against Pitt
- Might be for the CoaRstal

Actual reasons for going:
- Nice footbal weather
- Good family outing
- $10 tickets, sit anywhere

Yeah. fucc that support these kids no matter what bs. My money is good elsewhere. I support them by clamoring for a new OC/QB coach, a new OL coach, and a Special Teams Coach
