June 2nd camp updates

Ed Reed wouldn't be sitting there giving interviews while DB's worked out. Santana Moss is running routes. Willis is doing drills. Duke and Chickillo are the guys going hardest out there.

I get it, and its sad that thats the culture now, but I don't like it

Well Ed Reed was a 2 star who wasn't offered until late in the process. I would hope he would be there to compete, especially coming all the way from Louisiana.

Whether their competing or not people its good that their around campus around players around the coaches and around commits...don't you guys want kaaya to show lane, Rudolph, and Dixon what he can do?

"It's about getting better as a player!"

Ok cool. And if they attend UM, instead of one day of teaching from UM's staff, they'll get 3/4/5 years of it. If it doesn't matter to the staff if kids are out there participating or just observing, I'm not sure why it should matter to me.

Kids ought to be embarrassed going to a camp and not participating.

players like Lane and Valentine do note need to participate everybody already knows they are high D1 talent. If they want to pay the $50 or whatever it cost to dominate the other players fine but it is not needed.
Exactly, if you are that **** good really this isn't needed and especially when you're a local guy

Some camp notes from Chris Stock at ITU:

-Edouard is the son of a pastor and could not attend due to church obligations
-Kaaya is taller than Rosier and has a good arm
-Rosier has a stronger, livelier arm
-Coley spent a lot of time with both QBs
-2015 QB Dwayne Lawson looked a legit 6-5 205, good arm and threw the ball well
-Rudolph was the best WR at the event, some of his teammates on the SFE think Rudolph is the best WR on SFE
-WR CJ Worton had a good showing
-2015 WR Davante Peete had a good showing
-2015 TE Jake Bargas, 6-3 220, is a Michigan lacrosse commit who performed well at the camp, Carroll has already visited him and an offer could be on the way
-TE Tom Sweeney, 6-5 220 from Don Bosco Prep had a good performance and an offer could be on the way
-LB/DE Rohan Blackwood and 2015 DE Marlon Gonzales looked good in edge drills
-OL/DL Freddie Booth-Lloyd and LB Greg Miclisse both looked good

Y'all in this dreamworld where kids are all frothing at the mouth to prove themselves and thirst for competition more than water.

THEY'RE KIDS.

Yeah, the ideal is rarely the reality. I see where some of these guys are coming from with that expectation, but IMO you're not going to find that across the board at any camp. There may be a super-competitor here and there, but most of these kids are just normal 16/17 year-olds who happen to be pretty good at football.

Freddie Booth-Lloyd is out here...wide body, but nowhere near his listed 6-3...closer to 6 flat

Oh that could very interesting considering the staff's propensity for long lean dline prospects.

How is Arthur Williams the big DT from North Carolina doing, he is rumored to have an offer already but its not commitable.

Go Canes

Kids come from NJ and California to compete, local kids I'd think would want to rep the 305.
