2027 Julius "JuJu" Johnson 4* CB from Long Beach, CA (Long Beach Poly HS)

Dude ran a 10.3 and 21.08 before getting injured. Probably the biggest ‘we’re serious’ signifier yet for the Bruins.

I think they end up flipping OSU’s quarterback before it’s all said and done.
 
ucla brought out some early money.....

gonna see if they hold on to these guys as losses mount up same for usc

this last 2 week run has shown it, but yeah between Juju Johnson, the UGA CB they flipped and this Texas DT with Texas and PSU on him? good to see em fight back.

Yeah getting three players outta Texas like that was a surprise to say the least. Jackson Roper is another one that took me by surprise.

I don’t believe in absolutes as Jai Lucas/Mario Cristobal were both my number 1s and they had different resumes; still, there is a major benefit to hiring a longtime head coach, 1st time within the p4, type of guy because he enters the arena with a whole different mindset and experience.

Even if Tosh Lupoi and Bob Chesney’s networks overlap, Chesney has had to approach recruiting way differently than Lupoi who has spent his last dozen years, besides the ones in the NFL, recruiting as an assistant at two schools in Alabama and Oregon with extraordinary advantages.

Lupoi is doing very well too, but i needed a new Cali coach for comparison sake.

but for them to even get him stil is a pull because he is a nil money guy so means they ponied.

If you're being serious, that is a troll. Dante Moore is the only 5* they have had in I don't remember how long. Certainly the only one in the last 5 years. Donte Wright is still committed to UGA. I liked the Chesney hire for them and they are doing great with recruiting so far. I wanted JuJu. I hope they finally turn things around. A nice campus and a good school.
I like the Lupoi hire for Cal, also. They can't do much better. Give the man some NIL money. He can recruit without money.
