Judge extends the 14 day rule to double transfer until after spring semester....

Players who transfer more than once can now play all through spring semester vs the previous 14 day rule they had set. Seems like this is all leading up to unlimited transfers if the judge already extended the 14 day rule to after spring....

Welcome to Free Agency.

It's worse than Free Agency as it is one year deals for 4-5 years, not one deal for 4-5 years.
Of course, the deal is I play now so I can get to the league, not wait and mature...What if Manning transferred after 1996 (Vol's team lost to Memphis and UFelony). What if Brady said I am out of here in 1999 with the Drew ("Can't Miss") Henson signing? After that same year, does Dorsey take a better NIL and never is the starter going forward for the greatest college football team ever?

Been posting about the Death of CFB since '14, think this may be the final nail in the coffin.

This is not free agency; even free agency have parameters. The “legal system” is constantly fcking up chit, & I’m not going to even go down that rabbit hole.

What if Vince Young leaves Texas in 2004 and joins the 2005 Miami Hurricanes?

Or what if Calvin Johnson leaves Ga Tech and joins USC in 2005?

Unlimited transfers will make recruiting pointless
Not just that, but what if a player can transfer multiple times in the same season?

Let’s say a QB transfers before spring, doesn’t like what he is seeing and transfers to school B for the summer. Is progressing well. Then gets an offer from School C in August and transfers there. Then his new school is off to a 4-2 start. Meanwhile School D - a NC contender - is 5-0, but they just lost their quarterback to injury. So they offer a big NIL deal and this player jumps to School D. They qualify for the NC game.

Then School E - their opponent in the NC game - makes an enormous NIL offer to the quarterback. They don’t need him, but by taking him away from School D it pretty much guarantees that they will win the title.

Well there is still a bit of an academic component. Changing school mid-semester may be impossible

I read it the same way.
