me likes....now can we get him enrolled. I have liked a couple of the JUCO LB's they have recruited but unfortunately non have panned out...we can always go back and get Eddie AKA death

Orange Coast was in my conference bac in the day. Mission conference is the best JuCo competition in So Cal... he did look like DP 52 at that 1:10-1:16 mark too 850

Film is alright. Seems like sometimes he has burst and others he just kinda doesn't. We need a MLB this season it'll be lacking depth

So this kid gets an offer but hoggins doesn't ? Lol this staph never gon learn

What does that have to do with this? LB and corner spots aren't even related. They have higher kids on the board at CB.

The cloud is long gone. Miami has a linebacker tradition as rich as any program in the country. We have a senior LB who will be an early-round pick in the upcoming draft. LB depth is a major issue after this season, so there's opportunity for premier recruits to seize immediate playing time.

Take all those circumstances into consideration when it's argued there should be several realistic targets higher on the board than an obscure two-star JUCO LB whose prior favorites were apparently Texas State and Georgia State. Especially when there's only 1 LB worth getting excited about in the entire 2015 class (Perry).

We need to do better.

Here's the thing; it's really hard to get too much of a legitimate feel for a MLB'er until you know exactly what their responsibilities are each play and understand the combinations behind him (**** or MOFC etc.), so this isn't a complete condemnation of the young man.

That said, all I do is base my evaluations off of what I can see on the film. Not his star ratings, or what someone else says about the player- just what I can see.

The first thing that stands out is the lack of play strength that he plays with. He may have great workout numbers for all I know, but his play strength was quite weak. He did not stack and shed, in fact, he didn't really deliver legit strikes on his opponent, preferring to stop his feet and reach, lunge and grab. That's very poor technique and will get him annihilated against good competition. His speed is ok, not really Miami caliber speed. He's not big and I've already indicated he's not explosive strength-wise.

He seems to have good vision through trash and can find the football. Most of his highlights were eight yards down the field and on the backs of plays made by others. I didn't really see him make one impressive play in his entire film and I don't see the advanced athletic tools to develop into anything starter worthy. Quarterman was a far superior player and his tape is as a Junior in high school.

This one short tape is that of a low two star player who should be playing at the FCS level. Certainly not worthy of a Miami look based on what is on tape here.

Like I said, just how I see this.
