I know this has been speculated for a while, but I can confirm tonight that Miami is about to get aggressive in their search for a junior college cornerback. They have been doing their due diligence on a few guys and I fully expect for them to land one based on what I heard tonight. The staff knows that they can't be relying on projects at cornerback based on looking ahead to next season's roster.

And again, I know this has been speculated for some time, but look for the LEGITIMATE junior college targets to emerge over the next few weeks.

Pete is about to put in that work.

First offseason he's ever had all his sources fully in place. This could be good.

Both great physical specimens both at least 6 feet and 185 and can run---

Dean was a sprinter on the track team at South Dade in the spring 2014 and posted an official 100m--10.88 (national elite 10.80) and a 400m--48.16 (national elite 49.50) both under strict conditions at the FHSAA 4A Region 4 Meet.

Sheffield was also an excellent track athlete and in 2015 posted a 60mH--7.72 (national elite 8.40), 110mH--13.42(national elite 14.70) and 300m H--38.06 (national elite 39.50)
 
Sheffield is going to TAMU, they've had him in the bag for months now...

Ive been saying this for months since Henderson's UF sec country visit articles first surfaced...Miami should've been on this long ago....the way recruiting looks this year the staff needs to hit JUCO ranks hard for just about every position...

Henderson or not we need one for sure . You miss at wr Henderson would be that elite wr we need tooin this class .

Sheffield cant come to miami because of that acc rule where you have to be in the same juco 3 straight semesters.

Yep....would love to see it happen....what's his UF status with Shannon expected to leave? Last I heard UF is trying hard to flip Wade and a few others are ahead of Henderson...is he a take for them right now? To me....it looks like the kid decommitted now hes waiting in line to commit (UF).....I cannot believe he's falling for their BS.....smh

That's an sec rule or at least that's why juco linebacker Gary Johnson decommitted from bama
