Don't want to hear any J Thomas slander. They kicked him off the team. He was gone. He didn't beg to come back they went out and asked him to come back. The kids track record is well documented. He literally has been featured in a documentary. This is not the type of kid you snap on. Can't chew him out publicaly for not doing something right when you don't even feature him in the offense. Kids went from superstar to non factor. Anyone who didn't expect him to show his *** when not getting the ball after showing his *** when he was getting last year is just dishonest. They new what they were getting and was shocked when they got it. Not defending his actions but if Richt couldn't reign him in with love how did anyone expect this trash staff to reign him in by yelling at him. He built different. Type of kid that will tell you to go $uck yourself with zero remorse. Like being shocked and upset when you take back the girl you dumped for cheating cheats again. @oes gonna @oe and bad *** kids gonna do bad *** ****.

so what was the excuse when he tried to leave after his first summer (freshman year) coming off a 10 win season where he did get touches. it was reported that he tried to leave UM twice not just once

Sir I literally said I am not defending his actions. Literally. He barely went to school. Got bad grades and was always in trouble in highschool. Phenomenal talent but flawed. Again don't act shocked or upset when someone is exactly who you thought they were. Boot him and don't cry about it.

You have to keep this in perspective, Thomas does have a kid at home and he’s states away probably from the first time of his life. Anyone can get homesick in that situation it happens. Even with someone like early 2000 cane dj Williams at one point after his freshman season he thought about transferring too because Of being homesick. Let’s not forget duke Johnson mom comments saying years ago When he was playing if majority of the players who could transfer without sitting out a year majority wouldn’t be there due to golden regime obviously. Can literally happen to anyone let’s be real. Some of our best on Hurricanes teams in the past have thought about transferring
 
He is who we thought he was... Yet we're mad when does exactly what he always did. I am glad the university gave him a chance. I hope he has turned a corner. If not we got a season full of dope highlights and will be left wondering what could have been. Not gonna bash the kid though. Thomas is never been guilty of false advertising.

Regardless imo Thomas is still raw as a player and is not ready. I hope He makes the smart decision and come back next year but who knows

Very true, either way it would be in his best interest to come back next season. This was supposed to be the year where you quell character concerns (he did not with this suspension) and Answer on the field questions( not having the year he’s capable of having).

That’s a fair question and not one I think I have a good answer for to be honest. But I think you can spin “playing out the string” on the season and transferring after as oppose to just up and quitting.

Interesting route you took here on JT4 who has an incredibly bad history of decision making. One could argue his muffed punt against UF sealed our teams fate this year. We win that game and who knows what type of team we have riding off that win.
