Mentally Tougher??....Yeah...because only mentally weak kids make it out of East St Louis not in a Casket....JT doesn’t have the mental makeup to make it in the NFL. He was coddled here. Won’t happen in the NFL since he will likely go undrafted.
He may make a roster because of his speed and returning ability but not sure he’ll stick unless he gets mentally tougher.
Kid was a beast on all STs units day 1 on campus and put together a very good senior year on offense.I miss Darnell Jenkins! That man was versatile!
Lol at can't run routes...Lol at doesn't have good hands...go watch the LSU game and tell me he doesn't have good hands....As good as ANYONE in America off the line at the Snap...Totally uncoverable....
I wish Jeff Thomas would have stayed for one more year, but him leaving is certainly not a mistake. Ever since watching Mecole Hardman at UGA, I thought JT4 reminded me of him. They both have the same build at 5'10 at somewhere between 180-190. Both have a blazing speed (4.3s) with just one cut moves. They're both return specialist and will eat out in the slot. Jeff Thomas is definitely going to get on a roster and be some team's Mecole Hardman.
I guess we’ll see. The nfl won’t have much time for his act.I wish Jeff Thomas would have stayed for one more year, but him leaving is certainly not a mistake. Yeah because mentally tough kids from East St. Louis quit on their high school and college teammates and end up having successful careers in the NFL.Mentally Tougher??....Yeah...because only mentally weak kids make it out of East St Louis not in a Casket....

Please spare me he grew up in a rough neighborhood stuff. He likely was coddled because of his talent since he was young and the minute he gets any hardship he quits.
Hardman regularly ran away from SEC DBs.
When have we seen JT4 outrun anyone? Serious question.
Im not one to act like jt4 is the fastest player to come thru UM, but to act as if jt4 cant get behind top level db's and secondaries is comical and insane, put whateva you got down and slowly back away:
Just watch this first play.
Swift is a 4.5 on his worst day and Hardman ran him down easy.
True.
Game speed does not equal 40 speed.

disagree.
JT4 is amazingly quick and tough to tackle.
Not on Hardman’s level at all from a speed standpoint. Hardman also isn’t on JT4’s level from an elusive perspective.
Different skill sets between the two.
But back to the original point, Hardman burns Thomas in a race.
Well we probably won’t find out. I don’t think he gets an invite to the combine
