JT Daniels to Georgia

that proves my point. First throw of the highlight, he steps up to throw (not even fully set) and throws 50+. Throw at :41 throws 50+ from one hash to the other (plus some so it probably went close to 60+). didn't even get into a minute into his clips and saw plenty of arm strength. You may be mistaking slight underthrows for weak arm strength. That's incorrect.
I’m not judging the underthrows. I’m judging the velocity...there’s no juice on his throws plus 40.

You're changing the argument now but I understand where you're coming from. He doesn't have the strongest arm in the world but his arm is plenty strong enough (can throw 60+) to be a very good college QB. That's my point.

Huh? We were arguing? Tf?

I said the very same **** in the other thread...

Lobbing the ball over the top to a spot does not show arm strength. Those were straight lobs. Arm strength is driving the ball on a line to a wr on a 15 yard out from the far hash. Or a deep seam to the TE on a line before the safety can recover or a deep curl over the lb and between the recovering safety and corner trailing the wr.

Daniels isn't trash. I'm not saying that but he definitely has physical limitations that restrict any offense he plays in. DCs will gameplan around those weaknesses and force him to make those tough throws or drop it down to the back or shallow crossed, forcing UGA to play behind the chains, forcing them into long-yardage situations.

Can you read? who's arguing?

I am just reading this thread, my man lol. I don't read every thread on this board. He can throw 60+ and his arm is plenty strong to be a good qb. He does not have a howitzer.

I don't think he even considered the ACC... He wanted exposure, a big time program and the right opportunity to start fairly quickly. The USC writers were very blunt about what he and his father looked for. Playing in the SEC seemed to be the preference

Everybody assumes he's a good QB because he was a 5-star that put up crazy numbers in HS, but like many Southern Cali QB's his bust rate is high because he's already plateaued as a player.

Too coddled, too pampered & lacks mental toughness. Yes he got injured, but even before he got injured he was playing like shìt, Kedon Slovis a 3-star came right in & picked up Harrell's offense & took the job from Daniels.

UGA is on the same level as Notre Lame for the most overrated program in College football. Spend millions, cheat, & do everything in the world to win but still can't/won't get over the hump when it counts most.

Who they get means nothing, they will always be in Bama, LSU & even Auburn's shadow, eventually Kirby Smart will be revealed for the used car salesman goober he really is.
I agree that's the assessment with 8 out of 10 Cali QBs. They just don't have the necessary mindset to truly succeed mainly for the reasons you mentioned. But I think it's a lil early to throw this kid in there like that. He wasn't playing like **** at all. He had a decent year FOR A TRUE FRESHMAN QB. They cut back how often they'd push the ball which with those recievers you never wanna condone. But for a true frosh it could've been a **** of a lot worse. Guess we'll see because personally I think uga is a horrible spot for him. Far too conservative. This is the same thing everyone steady does on here. Just like with eason. I can see there paths being similar. **** good QBs not great
