JT Daniels to Georgia

Not really, has an average arm with good athleticism, plus he's a 5-star Georgia QB, a kid like that wouldn't come here under any circumstances.

He's already said he's still going to go to UGA & he's fine with the competition.

Milroe is the top target for the 21 class, and there may be other possibilities that happen as the season takes place, but our fans will mostly panic until we finally get one because despite many of them following recruiting for years they simply have no understanding of how it works & catch amnesia every year lol.
I don’t think there’s any point in any of us worrying about a QB right now. A good one has to see what Lashlee and King do before jumping on board.

That's what I've been saying on the board, but I realize it falls on deaf ears because one thing fans on here love to do is panic lol.

I already explained this in one of the high number of decommit threads, but once visits are allowed to happen again & the season starts come September/October you're going to see kids who were 1,000% rock solid committed start looking around & reopeing their commitments.

Most of these kids are committing to schools they haven't even visited in person to coaches they've never even met in person, it's all Zoom calls now & they're committing because staffs are selling kids on "you better get your spot now because we don't know what might happen & you could miss out on gettin a scholly!" It's effective but has potential to backfire once the season starts.

Basically, just because a kid is committed right now in May/June doesn't mean they're going to stay committed in November/December & no one should understand that more than Canes fans, yet they don't lol.

Didn’t he really tail off in the end and didn’t do well at the All Star camps?
I could care less what he did at camps. You’re talking about a 3000 yard, 39 TD guy at a school that’s never been a power house. Camps only matter when I’m looking for measurables and if there’s a competition concern. They play Oakleaf, Sandalwood, Deland, and Batram Trail. All loaded with D1 guys.

Everybody assumes he's a good QB because he was a 5-star that put up crazy numbers in HS, but like many Southern Cali QB's his bust rate is high because he's already plateaued as a player.

Too coddled, too pampered & lacks mental toughness. Yes he got injured, but even before he got injured he was playing like shìt, Kedon Slovis a 3-star came right in & picked up Harrell's offense & took the job from Daniels.

UGA is on the same level as Notre Lame for the most overrated program in College football. Spend millions, cheat, & do everything in the world to win but still can't/won't get over the hump when it counts most.

Who they get means nothing, they will always be in Bama, LSU & even Auburn's shadow, eventually Kirby Smart will be revealed for the used car salesman goober he really is.

It bothers me that he moved up a grade. Might mean he peaked early. He already got beat out once, injuries or not. We already have a guy on the roster who got beat out not once but twice.

I’m still holding out hoping Miller Moss can dislodge Garcia or Nuss by committing to their school and is possibly be there waiting with open arms.

They also want to see us put up numbers. We have been getting high rated qb's every cycle and do nothing with them.

This thread is pointless. This kid is average at best. Kedon slovis pretty much *****-slapped him, had relations with his momma and stole his gf and sent him running to cow town. That being said kedon is very good but what LCE said is truthful. The southern Cali kids may be fully developed while a 3 star from Arizona has room to grow and untapped potential

He reclassified to his original grade. Turned 20 in Feb. Moving up a grade and peaking early have nothing to do with each other.

This board loves talking about Georgia. No idea why? We don’t play them, different conference, about as relevant to us as North Dakota, yet endlessly discussing this sister bonker.

Was not a huge Daniels fan. Good accuracy and touch on short throws, poor velocity on intermediate and deep. You can get by with an average arm but you can’t have the gunslinger mentality that he has. Tries to force too many passes into windows he doesn’t have the arm to complete.

****, good get for them. UGA is making a deal with the devil putting their eggs in the transfer QB basket - twice in a row. Could work for them, but it's an unconventional approach.

I’m not really disappointed even though I advocated to recruit him. He would grade as a good college QB but nothing more. He can’t throw the ball past 45 yards...

I know you're exaggerating to make a point but cmon now.

There’s a lot of college quarterbacks who can’t throw the ball 45 yards in the air.

My point is JTD can. And I refute that there are a lot of kids who can't throw 45 yards. If you're a P5 QB, you can throw 45+. Besides, there are loads of highlights of JTD in HS throwing 55+.

Just watch some of these balls. You’ll know what I mean...

that proves my point. First throw of the highlight, he steps up to throw (not even fully set) and throws 50+. Throw at :41 throws 50+ from one hash to the other (plus some so it probably went close to 60+). didn't even get into a minute into his clips and saw plenty of arm strength. You may be mistaking slight underthrows for weak arm strength. That's incorrect.
