I think most trust in our development but with that comes growing pains, its the same with people who say stop portaling QB and hand over keys to Emory (trust our development!), when you do that you essentially say hey we might burn a year while the young guy figures it out..

That’s the beauty of college football every year it’s like 50% of the roster needs to prove itself “ready”

I think Cantwell will be fine with McCoy being the other and being an upper class men I can only hope he’s at least serviceable at worse… my biggest thing I’m curious about will be the run defense. Bain and Messidor made a lot of that magic work be seeing the edge and with them gone we will be relying on more pass rush adept guys and some new LBs to hold the standard.

I just dont see how people are more worried about replacing first round ends when we portaled in a potential first round end off a top 15 run defense (Damon Wilson was not getting steamrolled every play or something) and Blount who held his own AT DT but now he gonna struggle at DE just to hold the edge? We lose 100+ game expeirence oline in 4 starters but the weakest pass rating returning oline is moved to tackle and true freshman at other end is less worrisome than exerienced DEs?? How did this start? Howwwwwww lol

I still remember when we were playing Bama and our plan was to play smaller guys and move our LB to DE and play safety at LB.. People were tryna hype that team up too.. I was asking all offseason like how this makes sense to ya..

People hyped up for that game til they walk in mercedes benz stadium and see how its really supposed to look like lol..

Yup. Getting off the bus you could tell we couldn’t hang.
