Mali, Coop, and the transfers will elevate that room.
They alread have and will continue to apply pressure.

Guys like Upshaw, Moore, even Mali couldn't just show up this Spring and expect to start or guarenteed snaps. The competition in that room - forget about starting - for snaps is forcing every WR to put out. If they don't, then they'll be exiled to Raliegh or Athens.

That room - as with every other room in the building - will be better because each guy is fighting every day for snaps. Such a long cry from the Shannon years, the Golden year or more recently the Manny years.

i write for a living and don' t expect perfection, but if you purport to be a reporter or whatever, come on meng . . .

do more better
He’s like 16. High schoolers all write like garbage.. In fact I’d say this is far superior to most. But I’m sure he runs it through grammarly or something.

How do you explain spamming the board with 850 different threads on 1 player/recruit?

this part of CIS needs to get professionalized. Ariz's voice is not meant for listening and his face is not meant for TV.
For being one of the most popular sites in the country for college sports, there needs to be a sense of professionalism. Run this **** like Saban ran Alabama for all those years.

My tribesman!

And likewise….perfection isn’t needed yet what bothers me most about the mistakes are that they don’t feel like human errors; they feel like Ai errors.

& if that is the answer, it kinda defeats the purpose of using AI if you’re not going to proofread the output

You don’t want any high schooler to not use grammarly or AI…. It’d be bad.

Of course it creates a viscous cycle. But it’s like a calculator. There’s no going back, we have ai help and will have better in the future. It’s just not a needed skill out of 90% of people

Nah you’re missing what I am saying. I can’t restrict anyone else’s usage of ai-LLMs nor do i wish to.

I am saying that he needs to proofread and revise what the ai generated transcript / reformatting is giving him because the errors he publishes are so often non-human like. If anything, he needs to run it thru grammarly because it doesn’t appear like there was a grammar check.

Moreover, in addition to the grammar, when i see errors like ‘Brandon McCoy decommitted from North Carolina…..,’ i doubt someone following the sport is writing that rather than an ai program mixing up top prospects. JMO.

Trinton is in college btw. I also think you’re selling high schoolers short even if it’s been a dozen years since i was there.

Language and mathematics are vastly different; and i think the metaphor is off but that’s a deeper discussion to dive into altogether

See you’re commenting basing it on a proofread catches these things, when your missing that prior to the ai/grammarly input the writing was dog**** and this new output is better than they’d write - though done less human like/sounding. So when they re-read the output they don’t make changes because their level of writing they perform is worse than they’d write ai. So the changes they make will just break normal language rules they just fixed…

I definitely don’t think I’m selling high schoolers short. Especially males that have any interest in sports. It’s not an intelligence thing I’m saying. It’s a skill thing. And it is a fact that dedicating acquiring writing skills isn’t worth it today and the future due to AI taking over the needs for 90% or more.. that’s why I made the comparison to a calculator. Before we had to really know fractions and multiplication and division. Now? What’s the need. Doesn’t make them less intelligent but we’ve come to the understanding the work to acquire those skills are irrelevant for the most part today. Cause we have calculators…

Of course if you’re trying to be a reporter this IS skill they should be working on. I just think over next 5 years it’ll prove that they never needed to….
