2027 Joshua Dobson 5* CB from NC (William Amos Hough HS) commits to USCe

Ima say this, Gaby and the canes insiders have been real quiet on the CBs coach/wadood front as of late....Oregons spring game is tomorrow...after that we'll see what happens.

Because it’s no news to report. Mario said he is evaluating the situation. My guess is he is watching how Jefferson does this spring. If he feels like Jefferson can be the guy he will get the job if not it will be somebody else maybe

According to a fan on twitter, as A&M worked/still working to get Matthews to join the cult of the Aggies, Texas took advantage of their lack of attention on John Meredith.

Wiltfong put in a prediction for the Longhorns to land Meredith. So, I’m guessing the Aggies may feel that one is done with and have moved onto full-court pressing Dobson.

Moving on from one five star to another, what a problem to have.
 
TAMU has classes like this every few years.

They overspend & sign a whole bunch of 5-stars.

Then after about 2 years, it all just crumbles. Transfers left & right.

TAMU & Oregon, 2 programs with an unlimited War chest, that spends like the apocalypse is coming & never have anything to show for it.

This is such an interesting phenomenon...one that should be analyzed further. Yes, they spend a lot, I get that, but they have absolutely no proof of concept....none; they haven't won ANYTHING...EVER; their only claim to fame is being UT's little brother with an inferiority complex; and on top of that, they're just flat out weird. Yet, every 3-4 years, they put together a top class and the same thing happens. But here in Miami, we have the money, development, proof of concept, we've actually won something in our hx, and what?
I just need someone to explain to me why they get the level of consideration normally reserved for only a handful of programs. 8&4 has some Branch Dividean stuff going on over there.

They outbag other schools. I don’t think we need the Pew Foundation to run a study to come to that conclusion.

About five years ago they had that record class. Shemar Stewart, Walter Nolan, etc. They got what they paid for - a bunch of me-first guys; many of whom transferred out or left early for the draft. I suspect they’ll get similar results this year.

Still haven’t figured out that most of society aren’t rational thinkers eh? Lol

Everyone reacts based on emotion and not logic.

Texas A$M is selling deceit…deceit sells.

I don’t even have to get political to make my point.

Just look at who LSU has hired as their last two head coaches.

Morality and Values are mostly nonexistent.
 
This isn't Jimbo's A$M. Are they any further than us from a championship? We looked pretty **** even. I think Elko will produce. The game is mostly won on talent. Their biggest problem the last couple years has been QB. Lord knows Miami was familiar with this forever until we started dipping in the portal. A$M will be a problem with this kind of talent.

Not if they keep recruiting like this, they will be a tough out in a few years with a real HC. This is how you win on Saturdays especially if they taking guys from us directly. But we can keep saying this to ourselves because it happened with Jimbo, doesn't mean they cant turn it around. Some guys wont work out for them and they will let them portal though. If they are directly taking guys we think highly of they will weaken us, thats how you attack a school thats arrived. Ask UGA, thats why they not a power anymore. Especially if they attack our trench evals

I don't dismiss the value and importance of talent acquisition, but it's more nuanced than just talent.

Gotta get the right guys into the program, and star rankings don't necessarily mean they are the right guys.
