Cool stuff...TT has no shot and would replace with Texas due to potential upside with the QB. the other six I agree with.
Not unless their QB Marcel Reed learns how to read a defense… they won’t be long for the playoffMy “hot take” at least compared to most, if not all expert picks is, Texas flames out, and it’s actually Texas A&M and Georgia as the two top SEC schools with OU behind them.
As long as you just listen to Josh weekly, in the moment, and never track his predictions he sounds like a geniusView attachment 370619
Just in case anyone was wondering how last season’s preseason picks aged.

Hmm this is getting me even more hyped. Its probably most likely tied to mensah or the edgesHe prefaces his picks by saying that while he had previously picked ND to win it all, he's heard some things in the recent offseason that caused him to re-evaluate . In particular, he's heard some things about Miami that has caused him to change his original thinking...
Wouldn't be surprised if he's made some "quiet" trips to practice...
Thank you. It is so annoying to see people critique someone making picks 5 months ahead time. If he was that good at making picks, he would be a professional gambler.Indiana, Oregon, Ole Miss and Miami. I doubt many people had two of those correct.
Amateur hour. The professionals are already picking the 2027 championship. I have Miami winning it by a touchdown.I have us winning the whole thing too and my opinion matters more than Josh's.
The argument I have heard from Bama people is their lines of scrimmage have been fixed with transfers from the portal and the new QB is very good.I like pate but his predictions are always cheeks. He has Alabama making the playoffs. Lol they are cooked and deboer is getting fired
I listen to most of his stuff. It’s decent background filler. I put little to no stock into what he predicts. He does put out one of the few pro Miami shows out there nationally, so naturally that’s part of the draw.As long as you just listen to Josh weekly, in the moment, and never track his predictions he sounds like a geniusView attachment 370619

In hindsight, his rankings, predictions, and lists are some of the worst in the entire sport.
I don't see hate for Pate overall. We are scared of his predictions, cause they haven't been too great!Pate is one of the most Miami Friendly national talking heads out there. The hate for him is odd from Miami fans.
I don't think people get sports shows. Most professional gamblers don't even get it right 55% of the time. People don't watch Josh pate for his predictions, they watch because they are CFB junkies and they just want to hear someone talk about CFB and Pate is one of the best at doing that on a national level. I don't listen to DMoney or whatever other Miami guys because I think they are good at predicting the Miami season win total, I listen because I want to hear someone talk about Miami, of course predictions comes with that, but that's not why people listen. As long as you just listen to Josh weekly, in the moment, and never track his predictions he sounds like a genius

ATS they don't. Straight up its not farfetched to go 70% or better. I'm not picking on his model or his picks ATS.I don't think people get sports shows. And I don't even listen to Pate regularly but I still hear him making fun of himself for how often he is wrong, especially when he is really wrong. If he was someone making himself out to be some pickem guru but constantly being wrong, then that's another story. But his schtick is just, "I'm a guy who loves CFB, lets talk CFB."
