Correct me if I’m wrong, but this guy has been pro Miami for a while and is probably our biggest proponent in the “national” media. Herbie likes us but feels like Pate has been in our corner for a while now
Huge Mario guy.. has a ton of respect for Cristobal.

Always finds a way to talk up Miami/ defend Miami on his show. Mario proved him right yesterday.

he isn’t really anti anybody — he is really good at sticking to facts and not doing the espn style overreaction schtick

Josh Pate is one of the best in the business. And I'm glad he has turned down MULTIPLE offers to go work for ESPN/ABC and Fox. Owns the rights to his own programming which is why his platform has become so successful. He's Herbie 2.0 regarding Miami success and will always support our return to dominance - great Miami = Great for college football.

I don’t want to see Ward playing in the Second Half against any of the Nunneries we’re using as warmups. I get Mike Norvell vibes about what happened with his star QB.

I wanted him out of the game wayyy earlier than when we pulled him but hearing post game interview he mentioned wanting to stay in to take the victory formation knee because they put in too much work in offseason to be pulled. So I am guessing he clamored to stay in an extra series or two..

But even then you have to realize the kids make up might be detrimental to the long term vision and protect him from his own mentality. The sack we had came late and could of been dangerous, got to avoid those at ALL COST.
