Josh Jackson - QB VaTech

I don't think we can afford to overlook any opponents. VT did, got beat. We have no business losing any additional games this regular season, but we had no business losing to Pitt last year either. Next game is the most important, let's get the W thursday, then on to FSU.

I agree, you can't overlook anyone...

[]__[] need to take opportunities to get better each week, develop an identity, stay healthy and be playing our best ball at the end of the season. We had crucial injuries and less depth last season, coupled with poor focus and leadership on the offensive side of the ball.

A new QB means a new team, and by all accounts Kosi was very involved with offensive position-groups between series, and displayed leadership qualities we've been lacking for a long time. I'm excited to see how the team responds to a new leader/voice and continues to develop moving forward.

Josh Jackson is a tough kid. He's the kind of kid everyone would want on their team. I hope he heals up well and makes a productive comeback...

...after November 17th.

Frankly don't think any ACC games will be cakewalks for this team. Still not sold on our OL's ability to impose their will on anyone and even though I liked what I saw from Perry on Saturday, not ready to crown him yet.

VA Tech's best backup QB is Redshirt Freshman Hendon Hooker.

He's a 6'4 225lbs 4-star QB from North Carolina, he threw for over 6,000yds with 55TD's passing & had 2,975yds 48TD's rushing. Was a multiple time State champion & was a good basketball player too.

They also have a Red Junior who transferred from Kansas Ryan Willis who sucks. He threw for 2,530yds with 12TD's & 17INT's in 2 seasons at Kansas before he transferred. He started as a TF at KU as well.

He did play vs Old Dominion though, went 13/25 195yds 1TD 52%cmp. If Va Tech sticks with this kid I'm confident that Perry can march in the Blacksburg & beat them.

But if Fuente is smart he'll go with the Red Frosh, he's got the most upside between the two.

i dont care about VT or BC. stop projecting. play the game that is in front of you, which is UNC. Let's win that game and worry about FSU

FYI Duke lost their starting QB Daniel Jones against Northwestern with a broken collarbone. New QB is a dual-threat but completion %s numbers are Rosier-like.

I can’t recall a team having more injuries and off the field issues than this squad. We’re going to really have to **** the bed to not win out. At Bc on a Fri night is very dangerous. VT is starting to look like a w, especially after the last couple days.
Vag Tech is an absolute disaster. They got too much hype for beating a **** pile FSU team.

The Coastal is the worst it’s been in many years with Puke losing its QB and best defensive player and Vag Tech being a mess.

Coastal should be a layup for UM this year, but we know how that goes.

You’ve got to get your head out of your ****. BC is complete garbage. They made Purdue look like a playoff team. This is very very bad BC team.

Duke is Duke. We have no business losing any of our remaining regular season games.

Duke with their QB is probably Miami -7. Duke without is probably Miami -17.

VT wont lay down against us though. So we have that...and Bud Foster is consistent with what he does.

Our ol didnt really open holes against the scrubs weve seen so far. We'll see much better front 7's the next coming weeks.

True. Even our great teams lost several games they hand no business losing because they were not out for blood. Come ready or take your chances.
