Great hire? He has been a sideline reporter. He has no experience with in a college much less at a specific HS. How does his experience covering HS sports help him here?

This is what I'm hoping. Hope he helps the staff hit on some of these kids that seem to fall through the recruiting cracks. I'm sure he's lurking around here somewhere. Congrats to the dude.

Should be able to identify talent more quickly and he obviously would have a relationship with coaches/"mentors" in south florida

The kids really like him and he's got great relationships w/ the coaches... I like the Hire, he might not be "qualified" but the dude knows what he's doing... Remember 85% of the recruiting can be done in this state we should only have to cherry pick the other 15%.. Let's stack up on the local presence
