Jordan Travis's career is over

For those who are in the "he's a Nole, ***** him" category, I'm still salty over that loss at Doak and the 3rd and 14 conversion too, but if the shoe were on the other foot and the injury happened to one of ours and folks were saying that stuff about our own, we'd resent it. We can hope FSU never wins another game without wishing ill will upon the kid.
I just smh at stuff like this. I have a burning disdain for Pedo State like no one on this board but I just cant see one of their players getting seriously injured and me standing over them like Chuck Bednarik after the Frank Gifford hit. Unreal.

Sad to see this happen, even to a Nole. I'd prefer Travis try the NFL and fail while Cam is picked #1 overall and succeed.

I did not read the article but wouldn't his surgery(s) have been while at FSU?

Hate almost all things 'Nole. Hated playing against this dude. That said, the NCAA should spend some cash on insurance against career ending injuries for these kids.

Difficult to see kids who have given it their all in college and an injury late in their career kills their prospects.

Always wonder how Mel Bratton would have done in the NFL had he been healthy.

Don't feel much of anything. Don't know how you guys can feel sorry for him. Homie's young and made money doing rehab and now he's done with football. It's not like he's permanently handicapped or suffering from mental trauma. He'll live.
Well, like most of these kids he had a dream of playing in the league that has been taken away by injury. It doesn't matter how well you do

Money isn't everything. These kids grow up dreaming of playing in the NFL. That dream is gone. Doesn't matter how successful he is going g forward that hole will always be there.

I'm just not that invested. Life goes on. I never wished ill on him and I already admitted I made too many assumptions. I'm not gonna bother with this thread anymore, because I've already spent more time than I cared for about this topic, and posters seem to misconstrue what I wrote.

No worries. I'm more tuned into it because i had a potential football future ripped away too. Ruptured ACL in 1970, a kiss of death at that time

Even me as Giants fan I felt bad for Jordan Travis. But I personal believed Jordan Travis cannot play on MetLife turf, even if he popularly rehabs from that injury because it a lose-lose satiation. He made the best choice to retiring because he could got worse. I am wondering they taken to account Metlife turf in the satiation. Despite it now UFL or CFL will not sign Jordan Travis for a QB. I read somewhere he had given up rehab. He was going to PS if he rehab popularly but he a shell of fully rehab or retire anyway. I glad the doctors told him in April. And finally Jordan Travis would been cut during training camp or something.
