Jordan Stevenson Official Visit

I don't see the breakaway speed. He's basically Dukes size (Sr) and has really good vision. He's definitely worthy of his 4 star status. Guess it never hurts to add talent. I do not think he's better than Yearby or Gus.

Kid is definitely a take, as mentioned his film made me think of Duke, he just doesn't have quite the same burst/acceleration as Duke (few do). I love his vision and cut back ability while maintaining speed. I think he is a 4 star version of Duke and would be excited if we get him.

Idk I personally wouldn't take him, you guys sleep on fils aime kid really likes miami

fils-Aime won't be impacted by this guy. Right now we only have 1 other guy in the incoming class. No chance Auburn, or any other big time school he is looking at, is bringing him in as the only back unless they already have a more stacked backfield than we do.

Wouldn't take him over fils aime or homer so if it hurts our chances with those two don't even bother , anyone that follows Texas football how hard was the comp he played against ?

You still willing to take chance on runing backs that May come here???? Cmon mane thats ridiculous you cant take that chance

At one point, we had 3-4 already committed, with fils-aime still considering us. We're probably only going to end up with 1 from that group. Why should 1 additional guy in the 2015 class change this kids mind?

If he wants to come and can enroll immediately, you take the commit. You don't say no to guaranteed talent.

It's not a deciding factor or anything, and I'm sure our coaching staff would fail to exploit it anyway, but Stevenson played at both South Oak Cliff and Dallas Skyline (FR/SO years), which are two of the better producing schools in Texas as far as upper tier D1 kids. It would be nice to get a link in that area like FSU got with Miami Central when they landed Devonta Freeman. Stevenson was a big time kid in HS, would give a presence going forward in case we wanted anyone over here.

i think we only have hurlie brown on the staff with ocnnects in tx. The rest of these guys are fl, nj/ny/pa guys.....

would love to take 1-2 guys out of texas evey year...in the exact area u speak of.

you right. But that may is bigger than you think I say 80percent chance he comes to miami if the backfield not crowded

Idk I'm basing this on the fact Ive never watched the kid play live i don't like judging based of highlight films

If I recall, that area is South Dallas. Loaded with talent. It would be great have presence in that area, again.
