Jordan should be cut, he dropped a pass

"Only effect Rosier"?

LOL, you must've been in a coma in 2016, Kaaya got sacked 18 times during that 4 game losing streak.
Im saying some are saying that's one of the reasons why rosier was so bad throwing. Kaaya moved like he was in quick sand but was never that bad passing.

If Rosier gets above 58% completion percentage and keeps his INT's in the single digits, the Canes have a strong chance of making the playoff.

As you noted above, that's not a herculean task, rather that would just be some solid improvement from year one to year two as a starter.

We may get in as a 1 loss team, very true, but I still think Clemson has a pretty good gap on us. Especially the way their D-Line man handles our O-line. Rosier possible improvement aside they have demolished us the last 2 times we played and a 10% completion percentage bump wouldn't have mattered much IMO

I agree. We're not quite on Clemson's level...yet. That said, we should go into the ACC championship game with out best chance of hanging with them that we've had since Donna dismantled our program in the early 2000's.

If we go undefeated in the regular season and play Clemson extremely tough, we would have a solid argument for being a 1-loss playoff team. That said, lots of ball to be played between now and then.

Kaaya was pretty inconsistent with his down the field throwing ability, he almost never hit the receiver in stride throwing the ball

I could be smarter than richt. Just because he is coach that don't mean he is right about everything. And richt has never said his reason for rosier being the starter is because he throws better. Its always because he knows the system better and etc.
Stupid post of the year. You are an ignorant jacka=/.

It's not really about getting his overall completion percentage up. It's about eliminating the clunkers. He doesn't have to finish the year with a 65% percentage but he can't go 19-44 or 15-34 or 11-26 against our tougher opponents. He literally had four games where he was under 45%. He doesn't have to be great but he needs to stop being awful for long periods of time.

Agree with this

Nice answer CORCH
This comes with a major Caveat because he WASNT a 60% passer, but, if I recall there were something like 30 odd drop passes, which if caught put him over 60%, plus he had an injured AC joint from UNC till Clemson. So I think he can get up to 60% all things being equal.

You think QB's that throw for 60% don't also have passes dropped?

True. True.

Is there any other fan base in the country that hates their QB as Miami fans? The guy lead us to the ACC championship game for the first time in long time, beat FSU in Trailerhassi, ND and VT and only played really poorly at the end of the season when he had some shoulder issues and lost his best 3 weapons to injury. He has never been very accurate QB but he is and has been a gamer and a winner. Again this year he will do it again and make most of the posters eat crow.

#1 - He played like dog **** in the VT game. We won that game because of our defense.
#2 - He's one of the reasons so many of our games were close.

We won in spite of him on many occasions.
The drive versus FSU was epic though.

We have a playoff caliber team.

Only way we don't make the playoffs is if Nozier fvcks it off.

Only UM players drop passes. If Ahmmon and the rest of the receivers hadn't dropped so many balls last season, Rosier would of been a Heisman candidate.
