Jordan Seaton to Portal to Knoxville Car Wreck Guy (LSU)

Yeah same scenario, that ball can’t be low like that beating a cover 2 . Has to be a strike
I know people have questioned if his arm is the same, and I think it’s clear it’s not but 45 yards isn’t exactly a long throw, you think he just short armed it or was it something mental. Awful time to have possibly his worse throw of the season

Crazy thing is, it doesn't even have to be a strike.

That's a throwing window with a lot of room for error as long as the error isn't 1) short 2) inside or 3) (as it was) short AND inside.

He basically had leeway from the 5 or 10 yd line to the back of the endzone and from the numbers to the sideline to be right or wrong. ****, even throwing it to his family in the crowd would've been better.

Beck legit put that ball in the one spot that 1) his WR had no chance 2) there was no chance to live another down with a safe incompletion and 3) the DB that was beat had the best chance to catch it.

Just unbelievable. "Carlton Banks for the win...." headass. smfh

Beck can make that throw even with his arm after that surgery . I think It was just bad placement of the ball, that pressure didn’t help in terms of trying to throw it quickly but even with that he had enough time to throw that to the end zone or a better spot

Throw the ball 100 times and you'll have 1 or 2 that you just don't get enough on. I've seen it countless times working with HS kids. Throws that you know a guy can make end up short. It happens. The timing truly sucks.

Honestly though I still approach it from a strategic stand point. Hit Toney over the middle and let him get down to the 25 or 20. It's a higher % throw for Beck and it's better to score with less time left.

Completely agree, could have marched down inthe field . I think We would have because in the second half we were dominating them and getting everything we wanted on offense tbh

If he signs with Miami get ready for an avalanche of hate. Top tier Olineman rarely hit the portal. If Miami gets Mensah, Wilson, Seaton, Thornton plus the three WR's the hate will reach epic levels. God forbid Mario also signs a top LB'er like Arion Carter. Cry's of "They are buying a championship" will be heard from everyone.

Mensah, Wilson, and Seaton are arguably the top three guys at the three most important positions.

Yall need to stop focusing on the process with these portal players. As long as they have no record of being bad teammates let the staff do their thing. Cam had a weird process, but when he came, he was a dog. Toney was going to Bama, decommitted, now he already a cane legend. One thing the staff earn trust on is OL. If they feel its critical to get this guy, they will. If they dont its because they feel they have the solution in house. You may not feel that way, but Bell went from looking a little rough to now leaving to get drafted. Samson was earning too much as a bench player to now possibly our best returning OL. They know what they got and what they are doing at OL. They recruited the right bodies there. Seaton would give some more stability on that left side, and would probably move McCoy or Pancake to Right Guard.

In the end we need to do everything we can to try win a championship with this team. If that means getting Seaton, so be it.

We got to the natty because we had the overwhelming advantage in the trenches so we should be all in to get him here.

He also allows us to settle other guys into a more comfortable role. We’re debating samson/mccoy at LT, imagine if both can be vets inside to help the inexperience we will have at center and rt

God forbid? Seriously? This is competition, not an approval-seeking contest.

Win and be hated, or lose and be either mocked or likeable because you're a team that poses no real threat. There is no third option.

And Carter ain't coming here, he's returning to the Vols.

Based on the down, distance and time, it was not the right throw to make.

You have the chains to your advantage. They stop whenever you make a first down. Under NFL rules, I kinda get the throw. Collegewise, nope. It's a go ball into Tampa 2 with a safety lurking. Low-percentage-throw.

Tom Brady once drove down the field in the Super Bowl against the Rams. He threw three checkdown passes to his RB and one Stick, along with one deep crosser. You don't need those big plays, any bit of yardage is good.
