We take too many OL projects and usually only get one elite guy per class. So when you miss in the portal, every couple years you might have a brand new line anchored by a freshman. Will our line be elite this year? No. But let’s not act like it won’t be at least above average. Mario and Mirabal won’t let that happen and there is zero track record of them being at a school with all the players being their recruits, where it has been bad.

This is what happens when you constantly recruit 3* projects that don’t belong. Going to see a lot of freshman getting snaps next year and expecting them to play anywhere close to what Francis was his freshman year is asking way too much.

**** that’s a huge loss for us. Needed all three and needed LT to be elite to make another run vs playoff teams. This will hurt us in the upcoming season that will still be a successful season.

I dont understand the portal plan at OL? We lose almost our entire OL and we only bring in Jamal Merriweather via the portal who's just depth? The only thing that makes sense is Mario is so comfortable with the young guys on the roster that he didn't feel the need to go after anyone in the portal outside of an elite guy like Seaton.
